Well, bloody Hell. That is unbelievable. Thanks Leo, good luck and good bye, but nobody can suggest that this isn't fantastic business, surely?

I guess that means we'll fall within our FFP parameters!

Tony Bloom, what a player :O

I wish him nothing but good luck in the PL, the transfer market has gone mad with Ulloa and Mcormack fetching these mental transfer fees.
I think that's the point. says more about the transfer market than Leo. And might explain why we will find it so hard to compete for new signings. This fee inflation trickles down.

That's cheered me up no end. I hope Ulloa will prosper in the PL..

Have to say that all along I was unhappy with the prospect of losing Ulloa and was in the don't sell camp. However, even I can accept that this kind of money was just to good to turn down. Lets hope a large proportion of it is used toward the squad.

£10m for Ulloa!!!!

When compared to Demba Ba's £4.7m move to Besiktas involving a 29-year-old (1 year and a bit older than Leo) proven Premier League striker, it's quite remarkable what the club have pulled off meaning an almost guarantee that we'll conform to the FFP rules. No bitter taste left in the mouth like when Murray left, more of a taste of champagne I'd say!

Excellent.

Enough for Ward, a keeper, a decent striker, and Lingard ( loan ).

Maybe even another midfielder.

Great bit of business. Now let's sign someone else for £2M for a five fold profit.

Shame there wasn't another club interested - maybe we could have got a bit more if there was a bidding war :moo:
