I think that's the point. says more about the transfer market than Leo. And might explain why we will find it so hard to compete for new signings. This fee inflation trickles down.

When compared to Demba Ba's £4.7m move to Besiktas involving a 29-year-old (1 year and a bit older than Leo) proven Premier League striker, it's quite remarkable what the club have pulled off meaning an almost guarantee that we'll conform to the FFP rules. No bitter taste left in the mouth like when Murray left, more of a taste of champagne I'd say!

The club will have more choice now, that's got to be a fact. Maybe we'll increase our salaries but at least we can now compete with the likes of Boro for players like Vossen.
