Gotta feel sorry for the 34 year old pissed up vagrant getting nicked in West St. Not sure he’ll ever get over being accused of being a palace fan.

This is a new law that has replaced assault police. It now covers all emergency workers so it could have been police officers that were assaulted and not say paramedics. Still does not make it right but just to add some perspective
30 + Palace arrived in Brighton at 4.30 pm and escorted down to west st , same lot then escorted back up to Brighton station, the one's in the news paper picture , well done

But like a 'missile' being, in fact, a savoury pastry-based snack.See how easily we are manipulated?! I too thought of St Johns ambulance etc. More than likely a Police officer and even then I suppose assault can be just about anything too. After all, you don’t need to touch someone. Singing and gesturing, normal behaviour inside a ground, could easily get you charged with this if not something similar when it’s anticipated for a fixture like this. Sort of depends on the mood of the officers as much as anything else. No doubt those arrested will be feeling rather hard done by but really, when troubles expected, you’ve got to be a bit naive or dim or both not to behave yourself more than you might otherwise. Still, there’s plenty of good discounts on suits at the moment so every cloud and all that.

The Daily Fail do love an exaggerated headline
Brighton fan arrested for throwing a PIE at Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha as police detain 10 supporters after a night of violence
Night of violence? Really?
As we were walking out of Brighton Station I think we witnessed the 18-year-old man (boy really he was no bigger than 5'6 and skinny as they come) from Chipstead being arrested and as he was being led to the police van we heard him tell the police man escorting him that he was "a professional MMA fighter"
"That's nice" was they reply as they casually put him in the van and shut the door....
What for loitering ?
definitely no intent
yes, good to see a few facesGood to meet again last night, old chap.
Let's not forget that there has been a death by pastry before (pastrycide?)
I seem to recall a 52 year old chap who died after being hit by a rock cake that caught him underneath his heart and he was also hit in the eye by the concrete hardened crust
of a stale pork pie.
I think the perpetrator was a bloke called Edward but am not certain.
It was always going to be a Brighton fan last night because them up the road don't earn enough to buy a pie at the Amex and then chuck it away.
Not sure that can be related to the football?
Now Ernie had a rival
An evil looking man
Called Two Ton Ted from Teddington
And he drove the baker's van
hes the one who did it
