Ok, if you "borrow" an Amex card (which can be obtained free of charge!) then I can see the benefit but @Commander insinuated he was using his own Amex card for the discount and then paying the balance on another card.It was a 10% discount applied at the till, now you gave to actually use your card and the discount is applied as cashback to your account
