So far Gus has done a decent job and no more than that. As I understand his playing budget has been very decent this year and has enabled him to bring some quality Championship players in on loan. He has fallen out with his leading scorer who has moved on, he has lost on a loan player to has let us all down and he has bought a forward for a healthy sum who has yet to score on the pitch for us.

That said he has the team playing good football and if he takes us to the play offs next season we should expect some genuine interest

Gus will be here next season, no matter what. He has said unless one of the big four comes calling, and that can mean any big four, in any country, he's going no where, and why would he with a Chairman who's very wealthy and committed to the cause 100%, and Falmer looking more impressive by the day.

Just back Gus & Tony, and see what happens

Is quite a lot of reasons why poyet would if offered the job be a good idea if he turned it down,
1 didnt work out for his mate Zola who was also a top class player and had experience at under 21 level managing Italy,
2 - he is loved by our club and Chairman and would give him time to make errors - as expect a new manager to game to do occassionly and to build his team Sullivan and Gold gave a chance to Bruce.
3 - we moving into nice new stadium where who knows what our future will be They're probably moving to the Olympic stadium
4 - West Ham have known to be a selling club and trigger happy on the management front We are a selling club ourselves and will be for a long time. Don't you think that if Caskey has a good year next season and someone comes in with big money we won't sell!

But a reason he may want to go is back to london and a top premiership team but he is a clever guy and knows that not ready for it, yet, but he will be, i dont believe west ham are massively bigger than us, we just had a bad last 10 years or so now is time to start making brighton football club as good as a reputation and popularity as brighton the city is.

He has fallen out with his leading scorer who has moved on, he has lost on a loan player to has let us all down If you are talking about Calderon, he wasn't a loan signing. He was our player but on a short contract.and he has bought a forward for a healthy sum who has yet to score on the pitch for us.

It will, unfortunately, be along time before we are bigger than West Ham.

West Ham are not a massively bigger club than us. Our potential has never has been fully realised, but with Falmer and Bloom we are finally, 100 years or so into our history, making strides in the right direction.

Oh stop panicking, you old women.

The West Ham job is Avram Grant's, or I'll eat my hat.
