Wieffers pass awful, Igor could have engaged earlier , but where on earth was Pervis? 93rd minute , we are 4v1 and he is steaming forward with no hope of being involved , and whilst he wouldn’t have expected the pass , to be picked off, he’s left the biggest hole on our left , filled with Wolves...
2-2 : feel confident that we will score but think pushing so hard to break down a side that might create too many break away moments.. Forest (home) MkII...
It wouldn't be the biggest surprise if we turned them over, however, given relative form and comfort with coaches system, then I unfortunately think Spurs are ahead of us and will "nick it" 1-3.. but expect the game to be closer than that score-line suggests.
Related, but not relevant to the...
It's interesting reading this. But I do think simple pace or turning speeds are incrementally small solutions, and I just dont think that a quicker Lewis Dunk for example would solve the problem. Of course pace helps, but the bigger impact will be helping the back four to collectively anticipate...
Man. City! Pep has said he wont waste any energy on it!! failing that, any team for whom this competition is an unnecessary distraction.. there i dont want Palace, West Ham, Spurs etc.!!
I have gone 2-2 but any draw likely for me.. that said I am very concerned that they will hit us hard on the break and have the tools to do damage .. hoping we can get on top and make the pressure count 1st half ..
Some brilliant suggestions on here.. let me add..
U2 _ Where the Streets Have No Name.. not a particular fan of U2 but the intro to this is stunning in my opinion.. (not sure I have the ability to attach a video!)
1-3 to Arsenal I'm afraid.. should be a good game and if we were to score 1st then maybe they get a little desperate, but the Gooners are a different beast to previous seasons and I think we are still very open to wide counter-attacks and Arsenal are pretty good at those..
Igor can play there but far from an ideal fit I would have thought - within a game maybe. Barco, agreed, had actually forgotten him, but he is still very "green" and given Pervis' recent injury record that feels like a big gamble to me..
Pre-season so far hasn't changed my opinion.. anything possible. Still very concerned that we don't have a Left full-back nailed on and the Baleba experiment (then Hinshelwood) on Saturday might hint at the fact that we need a stop-gap until either Pervis and/or Solly fit. It was a concern...
As others have said, nothing would necessarily be a surprise.. I have gone for 11-14th given we have a tricky looking start and 0 points after 3 games wouldnt be a huge surprise. That could knock the confidence a little, putting pressure on the games that might look less challenging than the...
Don't quite understand such negative reaction to Cooper.. Remember Forest was a basket case for recruitment and Cooper I thought handled that pretty well having been successful in getting them up. Nuno didn't really get much of reaction from the team in terms of performance (Gut feel, not stat...
Its only been a week or so and people questioning the reality or quality of a succession plan? Surely the plan is just that, a plan - it just allows the Club to go about its business in a quiet, coordinated way, but doesn't guarantee that the first people we approach get sorted. Every plan has...
"Yes" is my vote. However, it is also OK to acknowledge that I am very sad not to get another season with (hopefully) a fully fit squad, a few new additions and RDZ having gained a heap of experience too. That said, lets take the public narrative at its face-value - this works for us. It has...
