Just cant see us having enough depth or relative interest given PL and Europa league I think are bigger priorities. Without WBG, Pedro and Mitoma, (Fergie maybe injured, Welbeck may need rest etc etc..) just think we wont have the firepower - 1-3 to Wolves ..
And even more peeved having watched the Liverpool goal being chalked off.. get it’s for offside but the “foul” deemed relevant as goal scorer not challenged by player blocked ???
Don’t know if mentioned .. am peeved the referee/VAR didn’t look at the goal. Watch Godfrey pull on Ferguson, literally drags him ti the ground to stop him challenging to clear the 1st ball in.. it then drops to the giraffe who smacks it home. It injured Ferguson in the fall.. genuine foul not...
I guess, regardless of how easy the data is to assemble or leak, the data is the property of the Club not the individual and relatively easy to track if it has been downloaded or shared elsewhere, so pretty sure there is no immediate haemorrhaging of data..
Sigh..... inevitable, frustrating and disappointing.
Can't be stopped of course.. I wish him no personal ill at all, however, I hope it all falls flat for Chelsea. I hope that the impact he can have is limited because the obsession that these clubs that they "deserve" better causes them to drop...
That wording "bring forward" ..... I think "re-start their plan to install Glasner" might be more accurate. None of that should deflect from the fact that if this is best for Roy's health then from that perspective, this is a good thing.
a gamble on a couple of levels :
can he turn them around and keep them up with more comfort than they currently have - or will his methods not stop the rot in the games coming up where they need points : Everton, Burnley, Forest and Luton
current "talented" players see enough in him to try and...
I have to say I think Dunk is getting away without flack for the 2nd goal, rather than Pervis. Two missed tackles from being over-committed that left Richarlison free and us with a 4 vs. 3. Maybe Pervis shouldnt have stopped trying to play offisde but was forced into a quick decision by his...
sound pretty horrible, but, I think the post that prompted your reply referred to the Home game (same season) and the fact that the match was stopped for significant periods.. this would get my shout too! (similar age as others, 10 years old in the relative safety of the West Stand)
Chelsea at...
Agree wholeheartedly.. our model is more subtle than simply sell on, however I accept that with such a great couple of seasons, more of our players appear to be attractive to other clubs. The nuance for me is simply that coming to us needn't be a rate-limiting factor on your personal ambitions...
I don't buy the conspiracy theories and last year there were (in my mind anyway - not going to research!) big draws that opened up the draw quite a bit. But back to the original point from Bozza, the draw was terrible from a spectacle perspective.. If Leeds get past Plymouth then them away to...
This was of a time when, as a young lad, i was very concerned that Moseley, Peter Ward, Peter Sayer, Peter O'Sullivan, Steve Foster all went to the same hairdressers as my Mum did and I hated the thoughts of them all sitting there, in a line all in curlers!!
PL : Palace is just awful facilities wise, but the atmosphere becuase of the rivalry makes it intriguing/tolerable. West Ham is a great "tourist fan experience" becuase it is a great spectacle, but the atmosphere is awful for away fans. All that said, the most disappointing away experience I...
Absolutely agree. Willock bucked that trend a little, signing for Newcastle after a loan period having played 40-odd games for Arsenal , but Reiss-Nelson has presumably been told he will get more game time but that certainly hasn't materialised yet but it meant he signed for another 4.5 years! ...
That was my reaction too when I read that Arsenal might loan him out.. can be explosive and his issue is he's not as good as Saka or Martinelli (and in Arteta's view Trossard) but thats quite a benchmark to get over. Arsenal could have sold him in the summer but convinced him to stay, but he is...
JPVH - his rise/improvements matches or maybe exceeds that of Gilmour?
Welbeck - not for his finishing but his all-round play was, once again, invaluable and his link up with Pedro looks to be blossoming. A real handful for defenders that provides space and opportunity for others.
