    [Food] Lose 7lbs in November

I started early (my wife can confirm that at times I am premature) but today down to 16st 0.7lbs, . I put on 3 stone after being forced to stop running in 2016 after knee injury and botched operation, have wallowed in self pity and comfort eating for too long. Target now is to go below 16st for...

[Football] SAMI - 10 years on

Obika always tried, can't fault him for that, and his salute celebration when he scored in the FA Cup against Port Vale were excellent. Akpom gets my vote as the worst ever, how he is at Ajax is baffling, but has scored six so far this season. His dad was/is the problem.

    [News] John Prescott RIP

I was asked to join the party and stand at the last election. I politely declined for a variety of reaons, one being my post history on NSC. Not sure whether that makes me one of the lunatives or sane ones though.

    [News] John Prescott RIP

My son in law worked at the Foreign Office for many years. He said that by far the best foreign ministers were William Hague and Michael Gove, and by far the worst was Boris Johnson and Priti Patel.

It did go down, but not significantly, suspect that in other seasons there were also bonuses for getting to the playoffs too.

    [Food] Lose 7lbs in November

Weighin this morning and have dropped 8.1lbs this month, and just over a stone from last month when one of my granddaughters called me fat. I remember weighing myself at the time and was shocked at both the absolute weight and BMI>30 so had started to try to cut down. Working 50-60 hour weeks...

    [Food] Lose 7lbs in November

I had a listen, and whilst suspecting that he was gettting his steps in at times as tended to repeat some points perhaps a wee bit too much, the big takeaways for me were 1: Keep it simple 2: If it can be measured it can be managed, a great phrase that I've not heard before, which brings us...

[Technology] Has anybody come off of Twitter / X? How easy did you find it?

I'm staying on Twitter, partly because it was hard work putting out content that resulted in 125k followers, but also because it is useful for work purposes in terms of commissioned work on the back of Tweets as well as reading some good content at times. Have set up a BlueSky account too, will...
