Married 32 years known each other for longer - not very interested in Football she's been to two games;
Blackpool at Goldstone in the North Stand end of season pitch invasion at the end, scared her to death, never going again
Chesterfield away lost 0-1, oatway sent off nearly pitch invasion and...
Last night checked out where the divide between home and away supporters will be and it's not far from us. The sleepy, non-chanting, non-clapping sit down all game bods are in for are in for a bit of a shock. It just might liven up this section.
Easy one - Kent.
1) Garden of England .. really? Whoever said that must have had some of that stuff from Shepherd Neame.
2) That disgusting stuff from Shepherd Neame they call beer and it's encroached too far into the real garden of England.
3) Tunbridge Wells should be in East Sussex, we...
Around 73/74. Group of us getting bus from Crowborough to Lewes train to Brighton to Hove. Stood at front of south stand was mesmorised by north stand and ended up going in there. Loved the sights,sounds, smell. Now it's train to pub to ground, coach home still love it all. The Leeds...
East Stand - Family Stand one end Retired Stand the other. although of course I'm not retired but a lot around us are .. they don't stand up, don't sing but can't arf put away the arveys
As a young lad playing in the garden me dad coming to get me to watch the last few minutes .. of a certain game at Wembley in 66. Odd thing I can't recall any noise, fuss or celebrations round about.
East - fairly near away end just in front of 1901. West/north/south create great noise we don't. Oh and queues for beer and loos unacceptable. Mobile Harveys bars forever running out. And I love every minute of the Amex experience.
I with Giraffe and others on this. I sat very close to all this on Tuesday and I'm not 1901 that's the point this corporate area is not separate like the 1901's in the West Stand. If an away fan is celebrating in a box or on a different tier that's different to being amongst you.
Before the...
Cup games and intense derby games can be an unwelcome distraction to the main business of surviving and prospering in the championship.
Also I am more than a bit disappointed by the capitulation in the stands, the silence and masses leaving early.
Tricked their way into the away section when Palace visited , started chanting Palaces songs their supporters all gathered round and .... mayhem ... our visitors ran in all directions. Police escorted them into the North Stand to a heroes welcome.
I see from your reply below that smartcards were only recently issued for the SSC final. If this doesn't arrive in time what will the arrangements be to enter the stadium on Saturday?
Thank you.
What will be the clubs stewarding policy be where;
- Goals for visiting teams are celebrated by spectators in home areas
- Goals for teams not at the Amex are celebrated in home areas
Thank you
