    [Albion] Women’s Football

I was hopeful of our chances in this game but its been a cake walk for Arsenal. Could be double figures unless we get our act together.

Chris Wood - did we miss a trick

Completely agree with you. He's never been fashionable, probably because of his size and physical approach, but 75 premier league goals, often in struggling sides is some return. Edging ever closer to to the top 50 premier league goalscorers of all time.

[Football] Everton away - things to do / avoid

I needed to leave slightly early last time. There are no buses until after the crowd have sufficiently dispersed the immediate streets so I ended up pace walking back to Lime St. Took about 40 mins.

    [Albion] Carl Rushworth for England?

It was only 10 years ago that Hull were top dogs and we were scratching around in their wake. I recall they hijacked our move for Brian Lenihan from Cork.

[Cricket] Cricket- England tour of Pakistan- October 2024

They did indeed. A good toss to lose for New Zealand! NZ would also have batted first had they won the toss.

[Football] Fulham - Riverside Corporate launched

Amusing how you have gone on the defensive. I think we're all happy to cock a snoot at corporate football.

    [Music] Great “worst” albums

Monster suffered because it followed the commercial peak of Green, Out of Time and Automatic for the People. Crush With Eyeliner is the only track I revisit.

    [Music] Great “worst” albums

Carnival of Light by Ride always gets slated, even by the band themselves (Carnival of Shite) but there are some great tracks on it. A perfect summer album.

[TV] BBC 4 & BBC iPlayer tonight - Threads (1984 film)

If it is as horrrific as you are saying where is the pleasure in watching it? Thanks for the tip though, now I can avoid watching it.

[Albion] If Brian Clough had stayed

While our manager he missed a league match because he was off watching a boxing match (rumble in the jungle?) Speaks volumes for his commitment.

You think Wolves have played well? Oh my. We all see things differently, I guess.

To lose to a decent team is one thing but this Wolves team are a shambles. Surely there is a goal for us here somewhere?

Have we actually had a shot on target yet? I don't recall one.

    [News] John Savident - RIP

Fantastic actor. Fred Elliot was absolutely hilarious back in the days when Coro St was both funny and watchable.

[Football] Was Mason Holgate’s horror tackle the worst in Premier League history? Here are five other shockers

Indeed. Vinny Jones effectively ended our own Gary Stevens career with a horrific challenge. It's on Youtube if you can bear it.

[Cricket] ICC Cricket World Cup 2023- Final- India v Australia

NZ really needed to bat first, losing the toss was unfortunate.

[Albion] The buses to and from the ground at marseille

Times have certainly changed. I'm sure in 1998 for the World Cup game there we just parked up and walked.
