Unfortunately my response to this is 'whatever'. We're not losing because of players, we're losing because of system and tactics. These are stupid comments and excuses for Gus to be making - who cares what our budget is? We've shown in games like Blackpool, Cardiff, Sunderland and Liverpool that...
Pathetic thread, rejoicing in not singing a song which we vehemently argued before September wasn't a Palace song, then the moment they beat us, it becomes 'the Palace song'.
My real concern is Gus. Don't get me wrong, I love Gus, and I'm 100% behind 'In Gus we Trust', but I really don't feel like he's learning from any mistakes, and some things in the team are quite frankly odd. Last night sums it up; we need to play both wings if we want to play passing football -...
Absolutely this. After the West Ham game, I actually felt good. We played excellently and just lacked a killer touch. After Birmingham I felt quite positive. Last night was just abysmal.
What's this business of only playing one winger, when passing football is supposed to stretch the field (i.e. why Gus designed the pitch at the Amex to be so wide)?
Personally didn't hear the booing, but I neither clapped nor booed. After spending £60 in total to watch that performance, they certainly didn't deserve an applause.
Fine Gus, because last night it was your fault that we didn't play the passing game. If you're that unhappy about it, stick someone on the left wing and get a message through to Harper and Greer to stop punting it forward.
All I'll say is that if both Buckley and Vicente are out, but Gus wants to play on only one wing for 85 minutes, then how the hell is KLL ever going to have a chance of getting a good chunk of action?
This, this and this with cherries on top. Yes, the lads were poor last night. Nooney had no end product, Greer made some shocking long ball attempts, Harley looked like he couldn't care less and once again CMS had no service.
But Gus has to take a lot of the blame here. He didn't like the hoof...
I think people are missing the point. I doubt ANY Albion fans find the chants offensive. I personally find them rather funny/juvenile, and enjoy the retorts of '1-0 to the Nancy boys' etc. and in a way wouldn't want it to stop because it would lower banter levels. But people need to remember...
I really don't get your point. I'm not part of NSK, but appreciate their efforts to make an atmosphere. I've seen the minority of a few muppet teenagers who'd rather have a go at opposition fans than get behind the team, but who is to know if they're part of NSK? But yesterday, the Ultras song...
Hope it's not a falling out. Most likely an injury, and also he's on 8 cards, maybe thought he'd run the risk of more in a physical game against Birmingham? Obviously, it's all just pointless speculation until we find out from the horse's mouth.
Brilliant point today. Bit of a weird one I must say, think it was because I was in Block D where not many people were, had the 'Gus Poyet's Blue and White Army' chant ringing in my ears for the majority. And also the team selection was weird; announcer says Buckley is starting, but Barnes does...
