Not so concerned about points or relegation. More concerned that we started the season looking absolutely excellent but unlucky. We looked like we were moving in all the right directions, but somehow we're now reaching a stasis. My only concern with Potter is that I'm not sure he knows how to...
That "especially careful" caveat will probably lead to some specific guidance being realised this week, though. For instance, Boris hinted that if you're in the extremely clinically vulnerable and cannot work from home, you should not go to work. I imagine we'll hear more before Thursday.
Not a Potter critic but in response to the OP, I would hope we finish this season in 13th/14th place. I don’t think that’s too unreasonable a hope in our fourth season, and I’m sure it’s something Tony and Graham are both aspiring to this year as well.
We’ve taken 5 points out of a possible 9...
I think we, along with others, have got better. Some (Sheffield, Burnley, Newcastle) have got worse. I think what’s skewing the table at the moment is that the top 6 have all either stagnated or got worse.
I'd say it's just another fixture. With this squad and the way we're playing, I'm no longer looking at the fixture list and earmarking the games we'll certainly lose and the games we thus must win. I think they're pretty much all for grabs - that's what's exciting.
I hate these stupid hyperbolic comments (on the video) by people who don't even put it into context. We've just scored a late equaliser against our rivals, and we have a frantic goal mouth scramble to try and find a winner in stoppage time. Dunky over-enthusiastically launches himself in to try...
Get in Chrissy! I loved the commentary on Final Score when the goal went in. Something like:
"And Chris Hughton remains unmoved on the touchline."
Time to resurrect the thread of Chrissy celebratory GIFs?
Absolutely delighted that Knocky has gone to Forest on loan! Just shows how much he loves Chris and Chris loves him. Very excited to look out for Forest's scores this season and wish those two Albion legends every success! Will always love them and gave me my greatest era supporting the Albion.
I'm pretty sure Albion have the least patriotic set of fans in the country. I'm not one of them - love you Leo but of course I want my country to win. Come on England!
Should be a really good game, looking forward to it.
Absolute all-time Albion legend and a model example of a man and leader. Love you Chris, will be rooting for Forest to win each week and hope you smash the Championship!
A bit like Teemu Pukki - tore the Championship ablaze, started well in the PL and then tapered off and by the end was a benchwarmer for Norwich when they were relegated.
I loved Knocky. I think people forget that he played a big part in the team effort for our survival in the first year in the...
I don't know the answer to this as I can't watch it back, but I'm not 100% sure if he was. The corner was taken so quickly, and Maguire had so much space - I'm unsure if it was Maupay's job, or just that nobody had been assigned to him and Maupay spotted the danger and was trying to do...
