An absolutely fantastic start in previous seasons we would've have held onto the win Vs Leeds and going a goal down in the first minute to Leicester would cost us. The character on display is impressive
It's not often that we sign players who walk into the side and look like they have been here for years. Most take plenty of time to understand the system and what is required. I don't think he will be a like for like replacement for Welbeck but probably get most of his minutes within a 2 man...
I watched the Hobbit trilogy & Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time in February. Never will I endure such a dull and drawn out set of films again. Each trilogy could've been a singular 2 hour movie
It baffles me that we don't send them a Defender, Midfielder & Striker to supplement their squad each season. We have an academy full of talent and they could rely on adding the quality to their squad each season
Most transfer windows since 2017 have ended with the feeling that we need 1 more striker in the squad yet we continue to compete and have hardly spent anytime at all in the bottom 3 during those 5 years. We have sold 3 influential player from last season and replaced all 3 of those with first...
Shocking decision and timing. 3 very tough fixtures plus a win Vs Villa and not in the relegation zone. A squad looking thin on quality and no chance of any replacement bringing in their own players with just 2 days left of the transfer window.
I bet he wished he had stayed at Fulham instead of...
Please watch the MOTD post match interviews for both our match Vs Leeds & Spurs Vs Forest. The difference is huge, the praise that Conte receives is merited but not repeated for Potter
I'll try not to do it too often, I have a reputation to uphold.
I did wonder if Pervis for Lallana was purely due to injury or for tactical reasons. Will we see more of a back 4 now that Potter has the personnel capable of playing that way or if he will utilise it only against specific opposition.
A similar side to Leeds, they like to counter quickly and put high balls into Mitrovic. Our best chance is to nullify their counter and push their attackers wider before they get a chance to cross.
I'm looking forward to the match
We played most of the game with a back 4, Dunk prefers the left side of the pair within a back 4. The previous 3 games were all against sides who play 1 central striker and have wider attackers so playing an extra defender reduces the space for the 2 wider players to get involved with attacks...
If Leeds, Wolves, Villa or Everton were producing like we have been over the last 12-15 games then the pundits would be going crazy about them. We have no history of premier League pedigree so nobody is interested in us
Not lucky as we were much the better side but the sort of match that previously would've ended in a draw. Our success this season is likely to depend on results like this at home against the bottom half, the more of these we can win the better
They appear to be signing replacements for some of the players they brought in in January to rescue them. As mentioned keeping the squad and dressing room motivated to pull together will be very difficult
If Maupay feels he needs to move on then why keep him for another year. If we get an offer that Bloom thinks is worth considering then so be it. He isn't likely to start many games when everyone is available and we've spent most seasons thinking we need another striker, with Undav in we have...
