    Help required Falmer Question

Aha! I think you may have spotted their give away mistake! The area marked "plant" would be the obvious place for the concourse serving any future second tier to go. Also, why is the left edge of the first floor ceiling at an angle if not to support more seating? My feeling is the club have...

    Seagulls Player (nee World)

Cheers guys. I'm not bothered about the commentary, but I do like the idea of watching the goals & highlights from the coming season plus some classic matches. Watching a few behind the scenes features on Falmer would be interesting too. Disappointing to hear it seems to have a few bugs...

Brighton tory council... leopards never change their spots

But for how long? After the recent by-election isn't now possible in theory for the opposition to pass a resolution to remove the current leader and then elect a new leader from their own ranks who could pick a new cabinet? Of course this would require a lot of co-operation amongst the greens...

This should get hove born&bred going...

Assuming this story is real, I think this woman has been incredibly naïve to allow the Argus to do a story on her. Why did she allow herself to be photographed with a huge slab of chocolate and crisps? I wonder if the reporter brought those?

    Average speed in road-works.

I've heard the compliance with the speed limit is much higher where average speed cameras are used as opposed at GATSO cameras. Maybe this is the reason you haven't come across anyone getting a ticket. Plus there are far more GATSO cameras than average speed cameras. A slight aside: I've only...

    Prince Charles v Lord Rogers

My understanding is the plans were submitted and the planning officers had produced a report that praised the development. The plans were withdrawn shortly before Westminster Council were due to vote on them. Prince Charles could have objected through the proper channels, but chose not to.

    Prince Charles v Lord Rogers

Well for me this issue isn't about architecture. The planning process has been followed, but now Charles has used his influence to get the Qatari's to withdraw their plans. Suppose after so many years waiting for Falmer and seeing it pass through the planning system, Prince Charles decided he...

    Holiday advice - dubrovnik

We took a trip to Cavtat (pronounced savtat) from the old harbour which was really pleasant. We also went to the island overlooking Dubrovnik who's name escapes me, and that was quite fun to explore, although in truth there wasn't a whole lot to do there. Also took a night cruise in a glass...
