Just to chip in, They had about 4 platinum seats left in the middle tier. There are more platinum seats available in the lower tier which have only just been released. There are plenty of those still available. The platinum seats are the central sections of the middle and lower tier.
The seats...
The line is not limited to four trains an hour. Check out the timetable for next Saturday between Lewes and Brighton for instance. There are trains at 16:58, 17:07, 17:14, 17:28 and 17:44 so the limit is at worst 5 an hour, though admittedly one of these trains does not stop at Falmer.

Just saw an advert for this loan company which I had never previously been aware of. Average APR 2356%. I assumed they had missed a decimal point, but no it really is 2356%, not 23.56%

I wonder how these people would have reacted in the early 19th century to proposals to build a massive house in a small fishing village in a style completely out of keeping with its surroundings. I suspect they would have been up in arms and would have been vehemently opposed to the Royal...
There was a group formed to support the King Alfred development. "Hove Up" I think, possibly run by the owner of the South African restaurant in Hove St.
Having said that I like your idea.
I think these groups tended to be formed as a result of a reaction to the terrible planning mistakes of the past, in particular the 1960s where many historic buildings were destroyed.
The problem as I see it is that these groups have evolved to be made up of elderly inherently conservative (in...
