Of course it's impossible to know how many points we would have accumulated without Glenn. Possibly more, probably less. Just trying to illustrate his current significance in our team.
Strong, considering his age. Streetwise, useful to the team when relieving pressure with a long ball. He is slow, and stunts most fast breaks so we have to take a more measured build-up approach but considering the players we have that is probably what we are more suited towards. His finishing...
What he's currently doing is 13 PL goals last year. More than Son Heung-Min, more than Firmino, more than Mitrovic. His goals kept us in the division, "stunk out the place" isn't just harsh, it's factually wrong.
I do agree, I think we need to evolve our striking options and could well see Andone or Locadia starting much more frequently. Perhaps with Trossard coming in, Locadia will be viewed more as a Centre Forward option, and he may be able to make a great impact under a new manger.

Re Barber's words of a few weeks ago, any squad changes will be "evolutionary rather than revolutionary." So no, I don't anticipate there will be too much business done, though our policy has always been that if there is a good opportunity to get a deal done that will improve the squad at the...
