[Albion] Appalling Quality All Round - Dreadful

Mine had been in the cabinet a little too long but still very tasty. Probably the highlight of the afternoon on reflection.

    [Albion] Webster and Stephens

I thought Schelotto had a pretty good game all in all and in comparison to others. He got down the wing well, granted, his crossing wasn’t as good as I would have liked but he still caused them problems. Likewise, Mooy made one horrendous mistake but was quite useful at other times. I thought...

    [Albion] Viva the new boys!

OK, we weren’t great today but boy was there more talent on show than we saw all of last season and mostly from players who didn’t even play last season. Alzate, Connolly, Burn, Trossard, Webster. Such a joy to watch compared to Mr Angry and DJ Strollabout.

    [Film] Joker vs American Psycho

By coincidence, I watched American Psycho for the first time this week and then went and saw Joker at the cinema. Both feature excellent individual performances - Christian Bale channelling Jim Carey and Joaquin Phoenix channelling Mark Rylance - but I was struck by how both the films were...

By democracy, do you mean the marginal majority vote based on lies taken three and a half years ago? Just want to be clear.

    [Politics] Brexit

In practical terms that would have been unlikely to change the way people voted and it was made clear that the referendum was 'advisory'.

    [Politics] Brexit

I know it's been said before but it's worth saying again, democracy is not undermined by more democracy. A trade union asks it's members if it wants to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement (which is basically what membership of the EU or departure from the EU is) it then puts the results...

If the leavers are so convinced that they are enacting the 'will of the people' why are they so scared of a confirmatory vote? Fair question?
