Thank you for making this point, I was going to do the same. As another poster has pointed out, I would imagine that caring Tories (there must be such a thing) would be appalled to think that this was something only lefties were concerned with.
Haven’t read the whole thread but I love this club and I’m well chuffed at where we are this season so yes, I’m happy to bung them another £20 a year for the membership pack jamboree and more importantly because they need the money and I want the good times to continue.
Thanks for all the posts, also just discovered Sainsbury’s decongestant and hay fever nasal spray. Works great for £2. Red wine is helping too. Good night.
Got a lousy head cold and normally I just put up with it and don't bother taking anything. However, I tried the Benylin cold and flu max strength and they really do help. Any other good remedies?
We are presently three points above the ‘strugglers’. For me that makes us bottom of ‘transitional’. The realist in me says we will finish in the strugglers but survive relegation.
All can see that there are now three mini-leagues in the PL. There are the Greek gods, the transitional (could join the gods but could just as easily drop out of this particular mini-league) and the strugglers. We are currently (just) in the transitional. Ut diu ut tandem.
I’m afraid I agree with this, they were unlucky and they have had consistent bad luck in the games I’ve seen. Long may that continue but it’s not likely to.
I'm fast approaching 62 and I have no intention of retiring for at least another 7 years. As far as I'm concerned, there's only so much fishing and tinkering with old motorbikes you can do and I know I would get bored.
I basically told the guy what I wanted and he designed it. The poppies are there for two reasons, one is the wonderful aerial shot of the AMEX that had the poppy field but also for the Royal Sussex Regiment who fought in the First World War and whose adopted song was Sussex by the Sea.
