It is being reported by the Two Ed's (the best Palace journalists) that his wage demands have gone down considerably since his agent negotiated with those clubs. They're saying that the agreement with Palace is at a figure "not close" to the original demands. Perhaps there are other incentives...
No idea who the loans are, but Guiata and Meyer would respresent two very exciting signings. I don't think anyone at Palace will be complaining about a transfer window in which we sign two players of that quality, potentially loan a couple more and keep Zaha.

Every single one of those articles were from last season. The articles were all focused on one question: "who is the best player outside the top 6 of the Premier League".
You're wrong, and now you're bizarrely attempting to double down on your wrongness.
Regardless, your inability to use...
Except for the fact that Zaha played significantly fewer minutes due to missing 9 games with injury. Fouls on Zaha also lead to Palace being awarded 4 penalties, none of which he took. I seem to recall Gross taking a penalty towards the end of the season?

Good one. Gross was an excellent signing for you and is certainly worth far more than you paid for him, but he's not in the same ballpark as Zaha and you know it.
Nobody wanted him except for Arsenal, Liverpool and Marseille, according to that article. The deals collapsed over wage demands, not because the player wasn't good enough.
Parish has seen the Palace wage bill drop by roughly £300k/w this summer, so we can afford to give a signficant chunk of...
I haven't said anything at all about Jahanbakhsh.
There are certainly some excellent signings on that list, but none of them are in the same ballpark as a player like Meyer signing for a club like Palace. Mahrez is an excellent signing, but City are expected to sign players of that standard...
