Yep. And with regards the definition of fiction : literature in the form of prose that describes imaginary events and people / something that is invented or untrue. So, "normal rules of the universe, etc .." don't have to apply. It's often made up fantasy based on our current understanding of...

A tenuous link, but also loved the book " The Martian Chronicles" and the TV series from the 70s/80s. Have tried over the years to find a physical copy or on a streaming platform and sadly nowhere to be found.

    [Albion] No Veltman, no party

Can't throw up any specific stats to support, but my own perception watching most games home and away for several years now is that we are poorer defensively without him. Immediately feel nervous about any game when he's not playing and even more so if not at least on the bench.

Possibly, but speculating wildly here, because he probably is, as he's only 31 (I've read somewhere). But then, that must be a mistake as Uncle Tony doesn't speculate and invest in youth himself does he. That would be silly 🤔

    [Albion] No Veltman, no party

Agree. One of my favourite players, and for a reason. More often than not we lose without him in the team. Knows instinctively how to defend , but also to help the players around him. Always nervous when he's not in the team. May be controversial, but far more so than any other defender these...
