[Misc] Flag hinges and upvc door frames

I'm thinking of buying and fitting a second-hand unit myself, and thought that the trickiest part would be getting it precisely square. All the ads I've looked at have had the door intact within the frame, so I was wondering whether I would have to dismantle this particular frame to fit it in...

    [Albion] Kaoru Mitoma original painting

So this artist is obliged to give away half her earnings because it's not a self-portrait? That's a bit rich coming from someone who's ripped off a photographer's work for their avator without the slightest thought of any commission. Just a thought...

    [Politics] The Breakthrough Party.

It's the Socialist Workers' Party by another name. Oh, and they want people like Mr Bloom to fund their programme. I'm out.

[Misc] Why do toilets have rims?

This is the sort of answer I was seeking. I suppose I should really have asked if rimless ones flush as well as the traditional. Anyway, Google now thinks I have a particular interest in public toilets...

    [News] Missing submersible.

And the bizarre thing about that is the theory that beached whales die simply because their organs aren't supported by buoyancy (I think - would be glad to be corrected). But how can they avoid the bends when resufacing from such depths? They must be holding their breath because they are mammals.

There's an impressive amount of detail on that painting. Can I actually see contact lenses in place?!

[Misc] Why do toilets have rims?

Despite clocking up several thousand hours sitting on them, I've only just come to ponder this after seeing this ad It's as if they were actually designed to harbour dirt and germs!

Or Gloucester City, also playing in that division at that latitude . The natural dividing point used to be a hundred miles further north, eg Mansfield Town played several seasons in the Third Division South.

    [News] Missing submersible.

I've been reading up on recent historical rescue missions here. It's a very mixed success rate. https://apnews.com/article/missing-sub-titanic-search-past-rescues-titan-f34a4e5a9f2572f996a807c4ee771535 The sequel to that was the huge flop 'Raise the Titanic'. I still have it in the attic on...

[Albion] Why are we doing this US tour?

If you think it takes at least a fortnight to recover from an away fixture and a flight, then we need to withdraw from Europe to protect our Premier League status 😂

[Help] “FIT” - bowel cancer test

Have you had one before? If taking the several pints of laxative that tastes like sea water with lemon (Moviprep), then you need to book exclusive use of one toilet for several hours. Thankfully, you get much longer 'notice' of the first evacuation than the few seconds you get for subsequent ones.

    [News] Missing submersible.

Ironic post. The debris could have been from the Titanic. Oh, did you assume it was found floating? Best not to make sarcastic comments when you're not in possession of the facts.

[Football] Darren Moore leaves MASSIVE by mutual consent

Thanks very much AZ, I had no idea that existed as it wasn't broadcast anywhere....was it? The sound didn't appear to capture the roar I thought I remembered immediately before kick-off. Also our support must have been at least 3,500 as our allocation was 3,300 and many (like me) bought home...
