    [Albion] Neal Maupay

More like his social media manager... I have a lot of time for Neal, hopefully his whole Twitter sideshow doesn't detract from his football

    He's radiating perv energy here

    [Albion] Hürzeler’s coaching team

How would that work though? If he's fit he plays the full 90 minutes of every game. He also needs to train with the first team to maintain his fitness and for tactical work etc. If he was playing as many minutes as a Milner/Lallana it could potentially work but not with his current workload.

    [Albion] Hürzeler’s coaching team

I disagree... It's probably not the best idea to turn our POTS into a part time coach. Let's keep him playing and training for as long as possible.

    [Football] Euros 2024 - Matchday 2

Not watched much of Hungary but I imagined them to be very defensively solid, certainly not the case.... so many errors today. Nowhere near as bad as Scotland last night though. Hungary could lose to Germany and still beat the Scots by enough to qualify as one of the best 3rd placed teams

[Albion] Albion players on international duty - June 2024

Can’t see any mention earlier in the thread… but Baleba made his Cameroon debut today in a 4-1 win vs Cape Verde

[Albion] Pascal Groß the raumdeuter - officially leaves for Dortmund :(

Hahaha, definitely harder to find in the library

[Football] Dunk IN! (Was: Dunk Out?)

I think it's a straight toss up between him and Branthwaite - Southgate seems to favour Dunk but he won't want to take three injured defenders. I think Branthwaite will be a great defender but at the moment I can see why he'd favour Dunk. Branthwaite has looked good in a Dyche back four (so did...

    [Albion] Carl Rushworth

Not sure it'd be a great move - look at what going to Burnley has done to Trafford... It's not much fun picking the ball out of your net all season Big Championship club or a season abroad would suit him better

[Football] German football coach condemns 'racist' TV survey

I think Jofra's case in particular is interesting as he claims to always have wanted to play for England despite being in WI youth set ups. Obviously there is a financial incentive to play for England over the Windies, and the pitches here far better suit his game. It's a shame for West Indian...

[Football] German football coach condemns 'racist' TV survey

So you think Ben Stokes shouldn't play for England either? Jofra is more 'English' than he is by your metric

    [Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

Certainly not as good as his brother but a couple of Sunderland fans I know have been raving about him. At 18 years old he's a very good Championship player with a season and a half of experience, lots of potential. I'm sure they will overpay though..

[Albion] Are Albion genuinely in danger of being in a relegation battle next season in your opinion

Lose Gross and get the managerial appointment wrong and we'd be in for a tough season but I still don't think we'd go down. Leicester almost certs with PSR, can't see Ipswich or Russell Martin's Southampton finishing above us, then you have Everton, Forest, maybe Wolves with PSR issues.

[Cricket] Sussex CCC - 2024 edition

Beautiful day for some Vitality Blast. Does anyone know if we’ll see any more of Seales? I know that he’s not in the squad for today but is there a chance he plays at Surrey on Friday? Annoyingly only made it to the Yorkshire match this season so haven’t seen him bowl in the flesh yet

[Albion] Who do you want to become our new manager?

I think we have good players and think it's very unlikely we'd go down even if the manager we get in isn't the most glamorous/exciting! I hope it's okay to have this opinion and still think the whining and constant rehashing of arguments about who we get in is a bit ridiculous...
