Get the NHS back on its feet
Paying doctors and nurses overtime to work evenings and weekends to cut the backlog – paid for by ending the non-dom tax break for the very wealthy.
A Labour government will:
Cut waiting times by giving the NHS the staff and technology it needs.
End the 8am scramble...
Economically literate, illiterate or anything in between as we may all be here, SKS has categorically stated that he WILL be increasing spending on the NHS .. “pumping money in” is what he said. That’s where the £3b from taxing the non doms is headed if I remember correctly
There will be more to it, the antisemitic attitudes of individuals within the party. And yes it definitely will be the press forcing the issue no doubt. Not that it should need forcing.
It’s unfortunate that there are question marks over the handling of the internal investigation into the £28b...
What a spin doctor you are !! Yes we only found out about it very late because of The Daily Mail. We probably should’ve found out about it a bit sooner if The Labour Whip’s office was doing it’s job!!
Honestly, every negative press story this week has simply been Labour shooting itself in the...
It seems that some of the Labour staffers working for Sir Keir have made complaints to their Union about the handling of the internal investigation into the leak to The Guardian of the u turn on £28b
I don’t think RDZ fancies Ferguson at all, he never praises him …almost criticises him in matches where he has scored, going back to Stoke in the cup last season “he can improve and he MUST improve “
Hopefully I’m wrong but it’s been nagging at me for a long time - obviously Joao Pedro is...
You don’t even have to go back to 97 - it’s only a couple of seasons ago I would’ve taken 17th in The Premier League but when I think of the games that I expected us to win this season that we didn’t …and I felt we should’ve won after the result… then I did feel we’d be a little higher than...
Unfortunately, the original message- that they would spend £28 billion every year for 5 years was the problem. Did you believe it when they announced it?
What I actually said was that the positive aspect is firstly that the shadow chancellor clearly has a grip on financing and even more importantly the leader of the opposition is listening to the shadow chancellor…. Word for word that is what I said !! So “all over it like a Tory spin doctor”...
The first adjustment of the policy was last June when they changed it from £28billion a year to “ramping up to £28 billion in the middle of the term”
This latest adjustment is halving it ….and will probably end up even less
The tories are already running a reel of 35 times that Labour have...
Sir John Curtise - source The Times:
Sir John Curtice, the polling expert, said the U-turn “does reinforce the impression that people don’t know what Starmer stands for, they don’t know what he is going to do and they haven’t quite been convinced”.
But he said voters were already clear that...
The U turn is not the issue so much as the bizarre ‘policy’ in the first place. Sir Keir has generally been good at avoiding the usual Labour Party own goals that lead to the inevitable cry of “How will you pay for it?”
The positive for me is that The Shadow Chancellor has been silent on this...
