I never know where to stand in these dull debates. I love driving (no points in 25 years), I pay VED ("road tax" for the thickies), I love cycling (regularly commute in and around London), I don't jump red lights (even at an empty pedestrian crossing), I don't ride on the pavement, I wear a...
Definitely agree with this, apart from it's not a scrap to win the league, they're in a scrap to go up automatic. Yes, they'll probably still do it, but with their squad and resources they should be enjoying a Celticesque romp to the title, not nervously looking at fixtures with 15 games to go.
I played in the school rugby team. We beat a few of the local schools and thought we were the bollox. So did the PE teacher who subsequently entered us into this pretty decent knock-out competition, which was a first for the school.
First round we were home to some public school. Alarm bells...
Anything with Gregg "it's spelt with two gs" Wallace is awful. There is not a single programme that he is involved with that wouldn't benefit from him not being. Tw@t.
There's a bit more to Baldock's game than being fast and running around a lot. I think he's sacrificed and changed quite a lot of his game to become that intelligent support player to other strikers, while still chipping in with vital goals here and there. Saying that, I certainly don't think...
Yeah, I pretty much agree with this. I liked it and it looked amazing, but was expecting a bit more. The first hour and a bit just seemed a bit pointless. The actual stealing of the plans was far too rushed and there didn't seem to be much of a plan. Let's fly to the planet and basically fight...
They're the ones. Well worth the €3 deposit. The ones from Gendarmenmarkt were quite nice mugs so kept those as well. Also, a couple of very nice Berliner Kindl glasses might have found their way into my suitcase.
Yep, the missus and I did Berlin last weekend. We're suckers for this sort of thing and a pre-Christmas European weekend away has become something of a tradition now. Berlin was brilliant, if a little nippy. We sampled the gluhwein and wurst at Charlottenburg (ruined church bit scaffold-free...
Nah, the "joke" was mocking David Beckham and his lack of intelligence, not the victims of the tsunami. Massive difference and a complete over-reaction. And I say that as someone who can't stand Rodney Marsh.
As for Preston and his Buzzcocks walkout, again I'm no fan but I would have smacked...
Yep, this. It's really not as bad as people make out. I went to the last England v Scotland game there (3-2), was round the far side of the stadium, left on the final whistle and don't think I waited more than 20 minutes.
I've taken advantage of these offers from Beer52 before and can confirm that the selection received and service was really good. Not sure if still the case, but in the past they were very lax about how many times you could order. Amazed they're still in business.
Down to final 66 needed. Desparate to get this below 50 soon so I can send off and finish. Here's my latest swap list:
