Good call, I knew they had Setanta on there but I thought Sky might be a harder nut to crack than an outfit that has Steve McManaman and Les Ferdinand as star pundits!
You make many valid points but it is equally scary that just when Labour is imploding, the Lib Dems are trying to copy the Tories(awfully, I may add) which could well lead to the Tories being the only electoral force.
That's not good for any of us.
They could wait till 2010 but I think they think it would cause such outrage and resentment that they'd rather, as Buzzer said, exercise damage limitation now and fight the election a year earlier with a slightly less hated figure and before there is the opportunity for potentially another 12...
Yep, I agree totally.
Plus the higher the majority the longer life span it automatically gives the Tories. Labour were practically assured two terms the moment all the results had come in on May 2nd 1997.
I agree too. Party Politics aside, who do you think could do the best job for Labour and what is realistically their best outcome?
I said party politics aside because I can understand from your point of view you'd enjoy watching Brown continue to be as unpopular as hell until 2010 when your lot...
But it's not just Birling Gap, it's the whole formation of the seven sisters. If you walk along them from the start at Cuckmere Haven right the way to Beachy Head you'll appreicate the real charm of them.
I like Tide Mills actually.
That little beach walk from outer Newhaven into Seaford via the Tide Mills ruins and that little green nature reserve is really nice.
Ok, stratch that. I'll take Newhaven and the incredible bleakness I feel there!
We'd cut immigration into this country if they all tried to enter via Newhaven and they thought the rest of the country was this bleak, it would be enough to bugger off back to Albania.
Hastings definitely.
Was there briefly yesterday and I found it more depressing than other localities which could be in that bracket such as Lancing and Worthing.
It's under reconstruction remember? And then will be part of the PRIVATISED rail network(as London Overground). Bob Crowe got very angry I seem to recall.
Victoria is my favourite although Northern has improved leaps and bounds recently to the extent I no longer avoid it like the plague.
