Whats the process ?
I've been stroking my chins about buying one for the missus for her birthday, and lining up the requisite riding course for her to get her license. But I have zero experience in this field. It only needs to be a pootler, nothing powerful and I'm an absolute tightarse so...
This. Very noticeable, and nothing new.
Revolting cynical side. Everton going down would be hilarious, but Burnley making the drop would be absolutely lovely.
LOVELY
I agree, he's not done himself any favours in how he has generally conducted himself as a professional. There's some fault on both sides in how his career has panned out.
I'm not sure we 'produced' him either - he joined us when he was nearly 20, and has spent most of his time out on loan at St Pauli, Swansea and now Cov. He's doing well for himself there, but its a bit of a stretch to call him a product of BHA.
My point stands - we have never, in our history...
The mismanagement of his development is directly linked with the poor recruitment which led to a paucity of viable striker options up front. We were forced to lean more heavily on him than we should have, being as all we basically had was a 48 year old Murray, and a new striker fresh from the...
They were also not lumbered with the pressure of being one of the few main striker options at their club, as Connolly was here. He was thrown in at the deep end, which was not his fault.
Thats entirely on BHA and the long-lamented inadequacy in recruiting a decent striker. Connolly has always...
That is very fair, to be fair. However I was judging him by his PL return after signing for Plucky, which was a rather anaemic 3 goals in 42 games. Thats Connolly-esque.
Maybe he'll tear it up next season though.
In terms of strikers, players coming through the Liverpool / Arsenal academy, and coming through the Brighton academy are entirely different things in terms of setting a fee. Brewster and Solanke have proved to be truly SHOCKING bits of business for the buying clubs - but they came at a premium...
I use both.
Lumpwood base, briquettes on top. Lumpwood burns faster and more intense, briquettes for a slower burn. Happy to work with either though, and nice to see the OP's friend eschews the use of GAS - truly the packeted grated cheese of BBQs.
I strongly suspect that the new 'merican owners have seen what Jesse Marsch has done at Leeds since he was brought in, and thought "yeah...we definitely need some of that". Vert naieve.
A dead cat bounce is so rare, I think they've just totally bollocksed their best chance of staying up. There...
Bought a dodgy bling "gold" Rolex in my teens off some bloke selling them by the beach abroad somewhere.
It turned my wrist green. Kept good time though.
