crazy priced being paid for players

The usual, as is normally the case.....25% down, the rest spread over three years, with interest allowed at Bank base rate plus 1.25%.

Our new Prime Minister Theresa May, and her cabinet...

Why let facts get in the way. I'm going the Trump route. Why understate when you can go over the top, all guns blazing.

Our new Prime Minister Theresa May, and her cabinet...

So do I. Judging from the mentality of some of our nation being interviewed out in the streets, a modicum of basic education would be a start. Up to a few years ago, you could hold a sensible conversation with pretty much anybody in this country, on a reasonably wide range of subjects. But try...

Our new Prime Minister Theresa May, and her cabinet...

May's heart was always with Leave. Ask any of her constituency workers. She was, by a very long way, the last leading politician to pin her colours to the mast. If my memory serves me right it was in the week leading up the vote. It appeared that she was reluctant to go public and was eventually...

[News] Morgan Stanley begins move away from London

I've survived cancer, divorce, separation from children, bereavements and business failure so far. Just hoping the ticker keeps working for a bit longer.

[News] Morgan Stanley begins move away from London

Bloody hell......this is quite an attack on us over 60 ' baby boomers ' Lets reflect on some of the points raised...........Firstly, the accusation that the older generation have completely ruined job prospects for the current younger generation, about to start out on their working lives. More...

    MEP Nigel farage

The Common Market was a very good idea and worked. The European Union is an unsustainable model. Political unions do not stand the test of time. History proves it.

    MEP Nigel farage

To those of you seduced by the great European dream, I have news for you.....It ain't going to last. It worked up to about 1990. It has been declining in efficiency ever since. It will eventually eat itself by greed. Trying to recruit more and more unsuitable members but placing a larger and...

Tony Blair will Not be investigated over Iraq war

You would think that Blair would be keeping a low profile in the aftermath of Brexit and immediately pre Chilcott but no, he is back in the media , advocating a 'chilldown ' period for a majority of the British public to decide they have made a mistake. This is a man who callously and...

    Glenn Murray to sign today...

See my previous post to Ernest. You fester in your own small-minded world whilst the rest of us celebrate the club doing well.

    Glenn Murray to sign today...

Well thats your problem. You will have to sit at the Amex, with a sour look on your face, whilst others celebrate the club doing well.

    Glenn Murray to sign today...

Why? Have you not studied his career or are unaware of the player.

Next PM: Now we have the runners and riders

Did get the feeling that Marr was savaging Leadsom and Gove with a relish, whilst Kinnock and McCluskey were treated with near reverance.

    Glenn Murray to sign today...

No it wasn't. It was no coincidence that we started scoring more goals after we increased our creative options. Before Xmas we lost Solly March and KLL and Jamie Murphy lost his edge. The strikers were trying to feed off scraps for weeks and weeks. Given all attacking options for the whole...

    Glenn Murray to sign today...

Don't worry....they are not the limit of our ambitions. Through contacts outside the club, I am led to believe that we are actively trying to strengthen. These things take time.

Next PM: Now we have the runners and riders

The new leader has to come from the Leave camp, to push complete change through. There will always be a suspicion that May could compromise and there is no room for any ' halfway house ' deals. Leadsom looks most promising. The divorce has to be made absolute.
