The Academy currently trains where I work and they had a trial game against Sussex Schools the other day and some of the Football was brilliant. They must have been 10,11,12 sort of age and they were all getting the ball down, looking for passes and it looked really good. Only a few times did I...
I dont think he was actually saying he will be doing it, just that it's stupid that it is cheaper to live in Barcelona and work in London than it is in to live and work in London.
The main thing that I gained from it is how bloody boring his voice is. It was hard work listening to it but very interesting all the same!
Good work guys!
Compared to other Footballers I think he is probably one of the more intelligent ones. His anger issues do let him down and people just use the lazy opinion of thinking that he is thick and stupid.
Why do you think this? I am sure that Joey Barton is more than capable of locating Brazil on a map and it doesn't take a genius to work out that a country in that part of the world is going to be hot and humid in June/July.
AITC have held a powerchair tournament where I work for the last couple of years and the likes of Guy Butters, Danny Cullip and a few other ex pro's have put a team in.
Apart from looking like a great laugh (well watching Guy Butters squeeze into a tiny chair mainly) it also looks bloody...
Don't they play home games on different days to us so they can get brighton fans in who want to watch football without traveling far? I do t think they are a rival to us in this instance.
I do however think that times are gone where they would happily snap up our players that get released or...
I would imagine that the bhafc bit is because we would presumably come up against him at some point and one of our rivals would get him.
Unless Oscar pulls off a Poyet/Vicente style blag I doubt we could afford him. I reckon it'll be for someone nearer the top of the budget table.
Ahh ok, I was going on the first line that said its done over the last 12 months. I did wonder what the other bit meant with the "Avg. Weight" bit.
It all boils down to 2 points in the rankings table, it's just unfortunate for Holland/Italy that the seedings line falls where it does. A friendly...
It's only done over the last 12 months as well so previous WC and Euros dont really mean anything.
Incidently, England are ranked one place above Brazil in the latest lot. Then again, apart from the Con Fed cup Brazil haven't played any competitive games in the last 2 years.
Quite a long way of working it out but it's all explained here... http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/procedureandschedule/menprocedure/index.html
Incidently, Switzerland are only 2 points above Holland and Italy in the World Rankings.
This is the same rankings that had England up to 4th (?) only a year or so ago... Are you really that shocked that there is a shock team in there?
Didn't the Swiss have the youngest average age at a WC not so long ago and didn't concede a goal from open play in the whole tounament?
