Made a bit of a hash of his match report. Firstly mentions a Dunk scoring, but shows a pic of Greer. Then says OGrady went round the keeper to wrap up the result, when he obviously didn't.
Poor journalism, considering it says he was at the game
We got our boy one of those and he just got up anyway, despite out attempts to 'train' him. Now he just gets up and puts the tv on in the lounge for an hour(from 6ish) and then wakes us when he wants some breakfast. He's 6 and it's been like this for a year or so
Ho ho ho.
With regard to Curbishley, he's been holding out for a Prem job, and ideally one in London. The longer he remains in the wilderness, the harder he becomes to employ
Despite my reticence about NJ getting the job, I was mighty impressed by his post match interview. He is obviouly passionate about what he does, but when he talked about bringing COG back, and the reasons, his substitutions, he talked good sense. I was impressed. Still don't think it's the long...
You shouldn't get abused, shot down perhaps....
The new manager needs experience of this league, both surviving and getting out of it. Jones is not that guy, move on please..
Im not generally controversial on here, but why do I feel that Bent has bottled this one.... After his celebration against Fulham last time, he would have been in for a caning every time he got the ball tonight.
A few have mentioned that he pulled up in the warm up on Boxing Day, but then went...
The thing is, if they don't get promoted then they'll be plundered for their best players anyway, just like we were. There are very few teams(Derby may be the exception) who manage to hang on to a winning team in this division
I'm interested to see the team he picks and the formation he goes for. It'll be an insight into how much he believed in Hyypia and where he was coming from. As for long term, right now he's not the right guy
A win today will be very welcome, and long overdue. However, the next 3 or 4 weeks are massive for this club and the hierarchy that run it. Get it right and we can consolidate the rest of those season, and accept it as a blip. Get it wrong and we're in proper trouble
Depending on who gets the managers job will fully depend on what we need to spend in Jan. If we can hang onto Bent until the end of the season then in reality we only need a decent creative midfielder. In Bent, Baldock and Colunga we have players who can score. We have a good enough back 5 out...
Indeed, Merry Christmas to you all. Some I know, some I don't. Some make me laugh, others make me grimace, but enjoy the day and hopefully 3 welcome points tomorrow!
A couple of post work Guineye(is that the correct plural of Guinness?)in the Cricketers in Southwick and now at home playing at being dad. Off to a family party shortly and back at a reasonable hour to prep the veggies for tomorrow
