    #### Forest lowlights ####

He's credited with the goal - so clearly offside. 3rd was good tackle, but always a risk a pen would be given for that. 2nd goal was entirely legal! Just one of those games - move one.

Have you ever "done a runner"...?

On the road in Italy once - stopped to eat at a hotel/restaurant type thing. There was a coach parked outside and it was quite busy as we queued for the restaurant - anyway we were sat down, fed a slap up meal and then left with all the others as they trooped off to their coach. I guess they...

Driving and using hand held phones

IMHO by far the more dangerous activity is looking at the screen of the phone. As a motorcyclist, I've faced 3 incidents in the last year where an oncoming car has drifted way over the centerline, the driver gazing down, presumably at a phone screen. In all three cases (just), the driver has...

    Man City v Huddersfield

He didn't touch it. Should he get a penalty for trying to handball it? Danny Mills - "oh well they deserve one". Why? for not being given three non-penalties?

    Man City v Huddersfield

Danny Mills talking bollox as usual. Never a penalty. If the players on the floor and the ball's fired along the ground at his arm, its not handball.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United *** Official Match Thread ***

I know this is a rather radical point-of-view, but I thought we did ok tonight. Yes, there were some heart-stopping misplaced passes, but we looked dangerous when going forward and outplayed them at times. They are the best (other) side in the league by a country mile and we matched them at least.

Why do we always bottle the big games?

Yes but that's being disappointed. Throwing toys out of the pram and insulting the team is one way to deal with disappointment.

Why do we always bottle the big games?

Yes you are. Reading was a big game too. We didn't bottle it - just got a bit of an unlucky break against a great side.

Incredible stat - Huddersfield haven't scored a championship penalty for 2 years and 2 months.

Listening on Player to the Hudds commentary. I don't think much of their Warren Aspinal - he can pronounce the players names. One way traffic for Hudds, but Reading just hit the bar.

    Travel advise

Did a bit of traveling in America with young kids. America is very kid friendly and easy, so no worries there. The only problem is that things are so damn far apart, so it can be boring as hell for the kids if you find yourself on the road all day, day after day. I'd advise careful planning...

Dive. Also correct decision on the Dunk 'handball'. The attacker shoved his arm onto the ball.

Decent back to basics performance today. Solid defence, chasing down the 2nd balls well, route 1 tactics were just the job to get us out of the rut.
