Leicest lose was the biggie for us.
Palace losing a massive cherry on the top.
Forest dropping two points just floats the whole thing in cream.
Amazing day - nothing but happy.
I suppose my natural pessimism leads me to over-predict for the teams above us and under-predict for the Albion. Certainly feels like we have a great shot at the play-offs - next two games will rally set the tone for th erun in, even if they won't make/break the opportunity.
First time I have done this - and I think I have been fairly pessimistic about our chances.
I had:
Charlton W 3-1
Leicester D 1-1
Middlesbrough D 1-1
Peterborough D 1-1
Blackpool W 2-0
Leeds D 1-1
Wolves W 2-0
Didn't go back and look at the table as I did this and didn't think too hard...
Opening post made it very clear that this is a long way off happening so that's fine in my book. We're perfectly entitled to have this debate. The only issue with this thread is why are two palace supporters getting involved in it?
Would love to see them drop out of the play offs - they're a bunch of chancers who have done well this season on the back of a band wagon in a weakish league, not on talent.
If they do make it through I could not stand being in that crap stadium with the drum and all that nonsense. So if they...
One of my favourite quotes and often used in relation to the Albion/SNCC/England football over the years. Not sure it applies as much to the Albion these days ... We'll see.
Quite.
We were handling their attacks really well and keeping them to shots from outside the box. Just unlucky a weak shot was fumbled. Gus did nothing wrong.
