Leicester game is v important in the predictor. A real 6 pointer. But also Leicester forest on last day is good for us

So long as they don't both go into it needing a point each to finish 5th & 6th ahead of us.!

First time I have done this - and I think I have been fairly pessimistic about our chances.

predictor.JPG

I had:

Charlton W 3-1
Leicester D 1-1
Middlesbrough D 1-1
Peterborough D 1-1
Blackpool W 2-0
Leeds D 1-1
Wolves W 2-0

Didn't go back and look at the table as I did this and didn't think too hard about the scores. Odd now to see all the 1-1 draws I think will happen! So probably crap prediction. However, we scrape into the play-off and go undefeated to the end of the season. We will need to beat Wolves.

Couple of other things in my table: Leicester stop being the challenge and it's Bolton and B'ham who put us under pressure. M'boro plunge and Blackburn go down. Both of these are possible I think.

Can't see 5 teams in the 80's given recent results and who they have left to play but agree about Leicester. They've failed against far "worse" teams than those they've left to play. Also agree that Bolton and Brum are threats but with games running out they can't afford much of a slip. The top 6 really do look sorted but the past few weeks have been pretty crazy

I suppose my natural pessimism leads me to over-predict for the teams above us and under-predict for the Albion. Certainly feels like we have a great shot at the play-offs - next two games will rally set the tone for th erun in, even if they won't make/break the opportunity.

24 wrong (out of 25) was a pretty spectacular record for the second half of March. Have you been consulting Ian Holloway?

:)

Agree, it was a spectacular fail, but in the vast majority of cases I was consistent with the bookies

It's already wrong (Leeds)!

Did it before Leeds, but got that wrong too! Will put new one up tomorrow, will be taking Leeds off altogether!

If Bolton and Middlesbrough are on there, perhaps Millwall should be as well ??? :lolol:

Not sure last night changes too much except making our game v Leics even more critical. Can see Palarse, Forest and Bolton picking up max points so "vital" we do the same

I agree. Only eight teams left with any realistic interest in getting to the Premier League this season. My final table looks like this now:-

92 Cardiff City
82 Hull City
81 Watford
75 Crystal Palace
71 Nottingham Forest
70 Brighton & Hove Albion
67 Leicester City
66 Bolton Wanderers

If we can beat Leicester, 68 points might be enough to make the play-offs.

A few games concern me, Cardiff v Bolton, and Forest v Leicester. Cardiff will be up by the time they play bolton, and forest and leicester could play for a draw, hopefully they both need the win.

No doubt in my mind it's now 3 from 5. Would be perfect if Ipswich could turn over Palarse nicely setting up their encounter with Leics

Impossible ... Leicester have a huge say in the outcome now. Probably the last one of these, will be able to do it in my head from now on!

Getting more and more likely now !!

You have to think Leics have a great chance of beating them on Saturday. I nearly changed the predictor but thought I'd get more satisfaction in changing it after the game and seeing them drop out then
