well yes, he probably is enjoying it. but everything in moderation, it's very easy to think you're enjoying something when it's actually causing you some substantial difficulties
there's just so much we don't know though. obviously there's stuff that's happened off the pitch, but that could all be the sign of someone who's struggling with the fame of being a footballer. not that he hasn't been at fault, but there could be more to it than meets the eye.
looks like he might be the man then! disappointing to not have him now but understandable as to why, and I'll take having undav ready for next season over a whole summer of pointlessly chasing nunez
no coincidence that the performance changed when we brought lamptey and welbeck on. they give us two things we're sorely lacking in the rest of the team, pace and physical presence in the penalty area. that goal is what maupay's game should be all about, dropping out wide and using his quality...
we were a completely different proposition once welbeck came on. I know it's been done to death, but if that doesn't highlight why we need another option to impact games when welbeck is unavailable then I don't know what will.
I'll take 0-0, we were on the back foot for a lot of that half because we kept giving the ball away, however positives are good shape defensively and trossard and cucurella both look up for it. one or two others need to get their act together in the second half though
