I think that O'Grady is the target man. The player who plays in the middle of the front three will be a goalscorer and more mobile with O'Grady offering something different if we're behind late on. All depends on who we can get though.

I agree. I think he's a victim of initial over hype so now he's not a £20 million player already, he's not good enough. What the play offs and the under 21s showed is that in a midfield three, he needs to be at the front of the three, not one of the more defensive players.

It has almost been announced like that on Sky Sports. They pretty much said it was a done deal. It is very unusual for a club to officially announce they're signing a player until after the medical.

I've wondered about the same thing but assume they want him more as the Orlandi replacement to create chances. Would be odd for us to spend this much on a player when we have Stephens/Crofts already unless we're selling them both.
