Was there for the 2-2 relegation game. They were already bottom and down, but I think we went there needing snookers (a win, and Stoke to beat Reading, or something). I remember that twunt equalising and running behind the goal pointing down at all us lot. Despite the fact he'd been relegated a...
I just love how comfortable he is at receiving the ball in tight spaces. A touch, a turn, then someone has bounced off him or tries to climb all over him and he's like "f*** off", whilst slipping a ball out wide and we crack on. He's brilliant at that.
Argie Mac as well. They are just SO strong...
I've not seen a replay of it yet, and I am biased and now mildly inebriated, but I was out of my WSU seat immediately convinced it was a clear pen. Mitoma done Bowen all ends up and was clumsily brought down from behind, was my initial take seeing it live.
And I'm STICKING with it.
VAR checks EVERY goal to try and find a way to rule it out, but it only goes up on the big screens if they're in the refs ear going "hang on a minute".
All the goals today were pretty clear-cut so the extended VAR review wasn't needed (for once).
Seeing a goal from a corner is like discovering the Ark of the Covenant as far as I'm concerned. I've heard it spoken of as a myth, a legend, but until you actually see it in front of your own two eyes, you're never fully convinced it actually exists.
A goal from a corner. Bloody hell.
There's some lovely stuff on KUMB this evening, including one post that said: "There's no way Brighton are this good. Yeah they're better than us, but this is like watching Brazil 1970"
When we turn teams over, its interesting to see how many times the opposition fans call it "our worst...
I agree, it is bad practice not to nail things down with signed Terms. Relying on email exchanges to provide potential candidates to a business, especially if its the first engagement between the parties, can easily lead to problematic cases and disputes like this.
The fact they've gone down this route seemingly early doors sounds rather strange to me. Usually, as a recruitment company, you always want to maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with clients, not piss them off. In my experience, negotiation and compromise is always the way, not...
Thats not entirely correct in my experience.
As @Seagull99 mentioned, if there is evidence of email traffic between the parties which results in an interview / offer being made, particularly if the parties have done business in the past, then although its not exactly signed terms it can be an...
You see I'm confused now.
Whilst I quite like Clarkson's writing and TV shows, I don't hero-worship him. Also, I cannot ABIDE Morgan, JR-M, Farage or Trump. And I've never been a member of a golf club. So I'm not sure which pigeon-hole I should be put into, tbh.
I like him. Been reading his columns for years, he is a very clever and funny writer IMO. His OTT oafishness in Top Gear always made me chuckle (because you can never take him seriously), and Clarksons Farm is one of the finest most entertaining TV series I have ever watched.
I also admit to...
This is a really interesting one, and you can see a video and analysis of the incident here:

Rehanne Skinner, the Spurs manager who's player got Toone sent off, said this about the decision to reverse the red and ban Summanen:
"It's opened a can...
