I'm fairly sure you'll all go through the 6000 in no time. The last of the pies were made this morning in preperation for the great bake off before the game.
Definitely need to have a word with the club about the wrong food type in boxes, seriously can't be that hard to get it right. The main thing that worries me is a vegiterian getting a meat based pie. Not sure how many tasters my Mum has asked for, might have to do a lucky dip of some sort...
We made 6000 as that's what was asked by the club. Whether this will be enough is anyones guess. Depends on the attendance I guess.
Edit: What I should also add is that they asked for the same amount of Steak as Chicken. Maybe the Chicken is becoming more popular
Grant's working as a Chef at the stadium, think last I heard he was cooking for the 1901 club and for directors on the two friendlies. He's been working 50 hour weeks and asked for the day off on Saturday as obviously the match was a massive deal for him. Finds out a day before that they hadn't...
Honestly I wish they could get rid of the smell, I'm sick of it after working everyday with them. Anyone would think I'm mad to turn down free pies for lunch everyday!
Know the one you're on about, guess it would depend on the amount she is looking at supplying to the location/store type. I know she is going to start looking at butcher shops which could work quite well
To be honest Jimbo your two posts were perfectly fine, you even said in them it was only in the best interests of the business that you issued your concerns. It wasn't more of ignoring the posts just certain things I'm not allowed to talk about. Thanks for the support and as always will be...
Chciken Balti Pie
In talks with Azure to supply these as well as the 3 choices on offer. This will still be a couple of months (sorting out ingredients ect.) If they don't decide to take it up this season it will be available either way once we get the online system up and running. We will...
Oh side note from me, how are you all going through 10,000 pies in a 22,000 seater stadium, that's unreal. Think we need a gym to the side of the stadium
We had to close the Bakery as there wasn't enough time to run it with 3 games within 2 weeks. The pies were selling out but the rest of the food on offer wasn't. Trade in Shoreham wasn't great which contributed to the decision
Just an update to those fans that have been wondering about where the shop has gone and where they will be able to purchase pies in the week. Mrs Piglet, as some named her on here, is in the process of creating an online ordering service so that pies are going to be available which could have a...
You're a good person to ask actually, are they keeping up to standards of that in the shop that we used to have in Shoreham? Obviously with the massive increase in production will be good to see the comparison.
