If the train issue is the only problem for you you might want to try seagull travel. Their bus/coach service means no crowding and seems reasonably priced. We have used it for games where no parking was available because like you we are covid concerned re public transport. A word of warning...
I am sure we all know what the official ATTENDANCE figure is. The problem is it's not an ATTENDANCE figure at all it's a ticket sold figure. Not a thing to go mad about but I do regret that you have to guess actual attendance and I also dislike the misuse of language.
Natural monopolies like water should never have been privatized. No doubt you believe that competition is good for efficiency and you may be right but there is no competition in water. Southern have a shocking record particularly on discharging sewage into rivers etc so I'm afraid regulation...
No point in limiting the question to those you know will say yes. This is not something to be decided by popular vote. The club has to decide based on the implications for it.
Why on earth are you being so aggressive to a fellow fan who like the rest of us assumed the govt might implement a policy that a minister insisted was essential last Wednesday?
I get you don't like it and that's your right but your fellow fan was repeating govt policy at the time.
Actually I...
You misunderstood me. I'm not against it at all merely pretty sure the govt has always been briefing about indoor venues. I would be happy if they did include football stadiums. I definitely do disagree that they would simply follow Scotland.
They might but by no means certain especially as there are a lot of Tory MPs opposed to any "passport" restrictions and Boris will not want to be seen following Nicola. In any case the different UK Nations have had different rules all through the pandemic.
The plans the govt have for October relate to crowded indoor venues like nightclubs. They have never suggested outdoor venues. Having said that I can see that logically the amex concourses might qualify but I imagine that would be a decision for the club.
You can go to the amex if you have a text or email confirming a negative lft. As I understand it the govt covid passport proposal is intended for crowded internal venues. I guess it's possible that the club will consider that they should apply that to the amex concourses.
Frankly I'm pleased...
No win situation for the FA here. Given they didn't initiate matters I imagine they will look to education and/or contrition which is I think the right course.
