Wouldn't disagree with that. When you get parents backing kids who misbehave, refuse to work, refuse to do homework etc it then becomes harder to enforce the rules on the others.
I think you have answered your own question. No discipline/respect from parents leads to huge problems in schools. All teachers can do is tell pupils off or give them detentions - if parents then storm into schools arguing with teachers about their precious getting a detention it makes things...
For wildlife photography with a DSLR you will need at least a 300mm lens (and I would recommend at least 400mm). You will struggle to get this for the budget you have mentioned (The Canon 7D is a good wildlife camera and the crop factor of 1.6 helps but although you can get the camera for less...
Thought I had recorded the match but got home and found I haven't.
Can't find the game on any catch up service on sky.
Anyone know of any way to watch the whole match again?
Took 7 and a half hours of waiting and it only settled for 10 seconds but finally got a photo of a sparrowhawk.
Photo was taken with a 400mm lens and is uncropped.
Yes (but price appears to have gone up!). Run by David Plummer Photography.
This was taken at the end of August which appears to have been the peak time.
Thanks. This was with a 400mm (and has barely been cropped). It was taken during a hide day in Sussex at Knepp.
Spent 6 hours in the hide and has a kingfisher in front of us for at least 3 hours of that - One kingfisher was on the perch for over 50 minutes!
100% female sparrowhawk - check out the bottom pic in this link: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/wildlife/f/902/p/84601/572510.aspx
Buzzards do not have the striped chest clearly visible in this picture.
Is this the Billy Sharp that is from Sheffield, a Sheffield United fan and the 2nd top scorer in league one for his home town club who are pushing for promotion to the championship? Why on earth would he move to Portsmouth in league 2? (and why would we sign Connor Chaplin?)
I do a bit of noise reduction and some very slight sharpening. I adjust levels slightly and sometimes add a TINY bit of colour enhancement.
I always shoot RAW so need to do some editing.
Which nature reserves have you tried? Some are better than others!
Hi.
Really sorry - only just seen your post!
To be honest it depends entirely on the bird. The red back shrike above was just stupidly tame (it flew under my tripod!!).
I do use a tripod most of the time to keep things sharper but if conditions are ok (or I can't be bothered to carry a tripod...
