    Wimmins Football

I've seen the ladies on a few times this season and very inpressed. There's no 'handbags', the tackles are fierce and the passing is excellent. Well worth a visit to Withers, and you can add a Sunday meal at the Sportsman too!

    Recollection of Middlesbrough away games

Been to Ayesome park a few times, nothing memorable about the games, 0-0 was considered a good score as we never looked like scoring. For one game I took a seat and slept through virtually the whole game. Looking at the positives, back in the day, when pubs closed at 2.30, pubs up there closed...

Archer, Stanley, Belloti where are you now?

I suppose Thatcher believe she was doing right for the Country. A, B & S were doing right to benefit nobody but themselves, as well as causing distress to many. Party away!

Archer, Stanley, Belloti where are you now?

I was watching one of the many reports on Tahtcher last night and they mentioned how her friend, Ian gow, was blown up and then BUGGER ME, they showed some geeky Lib winning the Eastbourne by-election and that smarmy, smiling grin. Oh, the RAGE!!!!!

FAN ZONE - Get it sorted

It's more like fans prefering to take an extra pie/drink and take their seats just before KO although there's still many of us who like to sit and marvel at the place for 15 mins before ko.

Est Stand Upper/lower dont forget to...

Positivly basked in it. The lady in front 1st removed her coat and later her wolly cardy and, well, it didn't get any hotter. My 1901 experince, nice to have a table & chairs and beer in a glass. Nice to have a half time complementary tea or coffee and a better class of loo. Sunshine was nice...

[Albion] One for those around in the 1970s: Who was better, Kuszczak or Grummitt?

Sorry to quote myself but thought of this las t night as PIG had some shaky moments when balls were played back to him. To counter that though, the rules were different and PG could pick up pass backs

can you remember your first Albion game?

Dec 16th 1967, a 0-0 draw against a very good Swindon side who would go on to promotion and a LC win in the next couple of years.

Although it's general knowledge that Gus has said he'd like to manage Leeds one day.

    luton fans attack kiddy fans

Luton was the 1st club I remember us having real rucks with in the late 60's early '70's

[Albion] One for those around in the 1970s: Who was better, Kuszczak or Grummitt?

I believe Grummit was not far away from an England call up at a time when England had some fantastic keepers. he came to us after a long career in the top flight and what he brought was experince. He commanded his area and his back line. Many a game he actually had little to save because of the...

Man for Man Better than 1991?

It was a poor league in 1991. We lost loads of games and actually finished with a minus goal difference. This team are streets ahead. Glad nobody has suggested Larry Boyd is a better manager than Gus!

5 matches you re-live and attend again...

Glad you picked out the B'muff game too. Would not be obvious, you had to be there, the atmosphere of 30,600, the packed North Stand with both sets of supporters, it was electric!

    old git rant!

Easy credit has a lot to answer for. As somebody posted earlier, back then we all had much the same and our back door was always unlocked, often open, but people didn't have stuff worth knicking. We had a house so cold that ise would form on the insides of windows, we had tatty clothes with...
