complete unicorn in terms of his ball-playing ability. only concern i have is his aerial ability. RDZ doesn’t seem to play a back 3 as much, and i’m not sure if i’d put medina in a CB pairing
think it could be more beadle by that point. rushworth is going to need regular first team footy at a decent level pretty imminently, and obviously as you say if this guy is good he could be sold quite quickly and we loan out rushworth for the time being, but what if verbruggen takes 3-4 seasons...
really promising talent, one of the higher rated young keepers in the world, actually. quite a similar playing style to neuer. would be a good buy, but you’d imagine that’d be curtains for rushworth
if poch wants him then it really doesn’t make sense to sell to us for the cash. as others have said they have other sellable assets likely to go first. only way this happens is if they want one of our players, imo. we’d have infinitely more leverage in that scenario
now feel free to call me a revisionist or whatever, because i have absolutely no basis for this claim, but i suspect had potter stayed, he’d still be on 0 goals and 0 league starts
am i hallucinating? i see these threads week in, week out, regardless of whether we lost or not and regardless of whether the ref was biased towards us or against us
really impressed with undav lately despite me making scathing comments in the past. for all his technical deficiencies, he offers us a pure, clinical finisher, with the ability to get a goal out of nowhere. we will need that in europe next season
they’ll probably try for at least one of our players this summer. including colwill in any negotiations has to be the absolute baseline that we ask from them.
nah still need a bit more of a destroyer in there imo. that’s not caicedo profile at all, but one aspect of his game, and the aspect i’ll miss most. he gets 4.45 tackles and interceptions per game compared to frattesi’s 2.46
i’m not saying frattesi is a bad player, far from it, but our...
