[Albion] One point gained or two points dropped?

Sloppy, error ridden, performance, deserving only of a point. Wolves a tad below par as well. They had a home game on Wednesday and an extra day to recover. Little bit of fatigue with some of our boys, I fear. Still a decent result.

[Albion] This Webster experiment ends jan 1st !!

0-0 at Chelsea, still in the game, hosts getting frustrated. Short ball inside the box to Webster, terrible first touch, result...penalty. Game gone. Its not just 1-2 games, its a whole string of them.

[Albion] This Webster experiment ends jan 1st !!

Well I hope he does because his error strewn first half of the season has left the jury out for me. I can see what the Doctor is trying to do but without Dunk, who covers manfully for some of Webster's errors, we would have dropped more points. The attempt to dribble out yesterday against 2-3...

Can't disagree with that. He really is the worst Labour leader I have ever seen. At least Michael Foot was a brilliant speaker. The saddest loss was John Smith, who would have been a superb PM and we could have avoided the ' New Labour ' legacy.

Blimey, as if they are the only ones doing it. They are all at it. I have never heard anything like it. Its truly awful. Listening to that garbage about the NHS and the USA, spewed out over and over again, in a desperate attempt to scare people is risible. Its like playground stuff and as for 32...

Wrong. It didn't cost the country £37m. That was just the cost to the Met Police, up to and including the two weeks of protests in October. This was more than twice the annual budget of its Violent Crime Taskforce The cost to the Met Police alone will be higher when other costs are factored in...

The happiness will be under Labour, when we will all work less hours for the same money.

He doesn't need to do anything. Corbyn and Swinson are handing him the election on a plate. Every time they open their mouths their own supporters must wince. They are both painfully inadequate and out of their depth. Johnson just needs to walk around, smile and say very little and its a shoe-in.

    [Cricket] RIP Bob Willis

Remember that long run-up so well. Was in the pavillion at Hove when Bob was young and playing for Surrey. As he came in after a long and hot session out in the field, he was stopped by an old member, as he came up the steps. " You were at Royal Grammar School, Guildford weren't you? " asked...

[Albion] Potterball, your opinions so far?

If we are going to get the ball forward quickly and with purpose, then midfield is the key. At the moment, it is too pedestrian. GP will need to gradually make changes and at least two of Stephens, Propper, Gross, Mooy and Bissouma will have to go and be replaced with quicker, more creative and...

Ah yes....' democracy ' ........just to be sure, checked with the oracle.....' government by all the people, direct or representative ; form of society ignoring hereditary class distinctions and tolerating minority views ' ( Thought so....we don't live in a democracy )

Its no different for UK businesses who do all their trade internally. Business is flat and depressed. There is no investment taking place and the general public are spending less. Three and a half years of doom- mongering has had an effect. Its dragged the economy into a depressive state and...

Of course it was all going swimmingly well before the referendum. Cameron was going to get an amazing deal out of the EU ( yes...if you remember...we weren't happy with our status within the bloc ) Then we were going to vote to remain in a ' reformed ' EU ( chuckle ) and all the time, since we...

[Albion] Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Did you see his terrible effort v Leics? Completely unmarked. Couldn't even time his jump right. No thanks...misses too many straightforward chances. He is alright thumping 30-40 yard headers upfield but he has no touch or subtlety in the opposition box.

I agree. I don't think he will. Leeds are desperate to sign him.

Its too loose and with just too many errors. This is like a training exercise for Liverpool. We are too easy to beat at the moment.

[Albion] Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

We are worryingly poor defensively and all the better teams are going to pick us off easily. We are not sharp enough to put away any half/three quarter chances, so its clearly going to be a long season. We will lose at the Emirates defending like this and are going to be going into the Wolves...

[Albion] Player Ratings Brighton - Leicester

Agree with most of that. Montoya is ok but we need better and Bernardo ( when fit ) has to come in for Burn. Duffy is just too immobile and keeps missing too many straightforward headed chances. Webster, for all his rampaging forward has a poor first touch, which keeps costing us. We have to...
