This is very true and I agree almost completely (with the minor exception of Martha, but that's my problem and I am dealing with it as best I can). It has to be done well though, in the way that The Fireworks absolutely nail that C86 Shop Assistants-y sound, and Armitage Shanks do their '77 thang.
My mate Taff took me along to see Gary Numan at the Centre backin the 80's. Utterly woeful.
I really hated the REM / Blur 'gig' at the MK Bowl too - so very very boring.
Hmmm, no, it's not me. I thought it might be you, but unless you're double bluffing, I'll have to guess elsewhere. I'm going for Staly because of The Morons, Goblin and Prince Jammy.

I love this bit particularly:
Here's your room and here's your records
Here's your home and here you'll stay
Here's somewhere I don't believe in
Wish someone would take it all away
I bought Inflammable Material on its release day from the wonderfully unfashionable A Pack of Cards...
Good shout - near Goals / Tesco / EE station and sensibly priced apparently. Cheers.
Only got a hatch-back :o(
Eh? What's my 'ilk'?
As for all who of you who posted the pics: comedy gold, up there with White Chicks, Jim Davidson and Miranda :glare:
I need to transport a single bed from Horsham to Beckenham at the weekend. Any suggestions for decent van hire, or a man with a van, or anything at all which is reliable and isn't going to break the bank please?
Thanks in advance
The individual who did this graffiti is an absolute dick, for sure, and I hope that they get their comeuppance. I really hope that the paint can be removed and the monument fully restored.
But some of the rabid reactions on here are beyond parody. People are so incensed that they want the...
Are you on a wind-up, or just so brainwashed that you see red everywhere? The BBC has a left-wing bias? Drivel.
Robinson? Dimbleby? Neill? Landale? Marr? Vine? A veritable hotbed of pinko activists.

A 'company' exists for one reason, and one reason alone: to make a profit. It's as simple as that. Private or PLC, it's all about making money and hitting targets.
I don't want a company deciding my mother's cancer treatment.
I don't want a company deciding which patients can generate a...
Weirdly, it looks like UKIP are taking votes from the Lib Dems. Unless former Lib Dems are voting Labour, and Labour voters are drifting to UKIP... What a mess!
I took part in the same survey, back in the 90's in Peacehaven. Free Pringles and dips, followed by a tenner or a money off voucher or something. Was a no-brainer.
I have Friday booked off, which is a good start, but I also have a two-year old who usually wakes between 5.30 and 6.00 every morning. The intention is to stay up all night until 6.00am or so, but I fully expect to be snoring on the sofa by 11.00pm to awake every couple of hours, blink at the...
I'm quite looking forward to all the UKIP voters who have never previously had any interest in proportional representation, and didn't bother voting in the AV referendum earlier this Parliament, becoming very vocal in their support of it come Friday morning.
