Can’t see that happening, unless Chelsea tell him the door is closed. But we know RDZ wants a left sided(footed) central defender, it would be great if it was Colwill.
Agree, he wasn’t at his best yesterday.
Despite controlling the game, our final 3rd passing was too heavy at times. I think MacAllister wants be the 10, but is more effective right now in the double pivot with Caicedo. I’d also prefer not to see Gross expected to defend(even though RDZ has now...
Absolutely this. Player has to leave the pitch, and is given perhaps 5 mins ‘check’ time before being allowed to continue. It’s then up to the manager if he wants to sub that player off, which he can do immediately, or wait the requisite time
I’m glad de Zerbi has shown a bit of passion. The ref lost the game for around 10 mins in the second half, but it was still nil nil at that point. We lost the ball in the centre circle with a mix up between MacAllister and Undav(I think), and they scampered off and scored. We’ve always been...
All depends on the injury, of course. It’s been reported as muscular, which is odd to see him in a brace and on crutches. Hopefully he’s had surgery and hopefully it clears up the problem, but at 34 with quite an injury history he’s no doubt got some hard work ahead of him. Shame….
That stuff was brutal. I quite liked it as a kid, and then I poured it into a glass and it was neon green. Drinks wern’t generally that colour in the 80’s
As has been mentioned many times before, ‘if they can’t use properly, then they have to stop using it until it can be relied upon’.
I almost think I’m ready to go back to the ineptitude of referees, over the inability to use technology correctly
I have the same dilemma about Welbeck as I do about Lallana, and that if he is fit he has to start. Like Lallana, Welbeck may only last 5 mins, and to bringing either off the bench is a possible wasted substitution(as we’ve already seen with Lallana). Both have the quality to start, just depends...
I thought Gilmour was ok yesterday, but struggled in a 2 man midfield where he might normally get some support from a number 10(or play as the 10). Whereas, us going 4-4-2 yesterday left our centre mids a little exposed
I switched the Trossard video off after about 3 mins, as it was becoming a little tiresome. However, I could watch the de Zerbi video over and over. The one touch pass and move that we’re currently playing is sublime
I have a friend who works for Chelsea, and has to go to Cobham once or twice a week. He says the atmosphere there is not great, with the men’s first team squad kept in complete isolation from everything else. No inclusivity, and the whole place feels quite unwelcoming. perhaps not a work...
