As someone who follows the Rockies, I go into the new season with very low expectations and expect them to be met.

Basel is the nearest airport but you then have to get the bus to Freiburg (regular service) or alternatively, get a bus into Basel and then get a train from Basel SBB to Freiburg. The bus is quicker though.

In the first Premier league season, I did some northern away games using FlyBe from Southampton as it was cheaper and faster than using the train (£29.99 each way). Sadly, after they went bust the airlines who picked up the routes have removed the cheap tickets that used to make it a great cost...

As I said on another thread, I know someone in the air charter business and he has said that post-pandemic, it is difficult to charter large aircraft at short notice because a number of airlines have gone out of business (including Thomas Cook), many flight crew left the business and many less...
