[Misc] Do you have a garden ?

180 feet by 60 feet. Have left section as wildlife area. Bramble, nettles, rocks and wood. Saves a bit on maintenance.

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

Watching ' Legend ' ( Tom Hardy playing Ron/Reg ) and hearing ' Little Miss Lonely ' sung by Helen Shapiro. Hard to believe that this girl was 14 years old when she had her first hits. What a voice. What a bloody voice.

[Misc] How will you celebrate when social restrictions are lifted?

On the basis that the wait for pubs and football is too long ( 2021 at the earliest ) I will aim for a medium term target, social distancing permitting.. A drive to a fairly quiet part of the coastline and a walk (with my partner ) breathing in that glorious sea air and enjoying the fabulous...

[Football] Bundesliga 'ready to return on 9 May', says German Football League

I don't show boat any virtue. I get my head down and keep working hard, in a vital industry, through this crisis, to try and help others. I did read the article. I think its too early to discuss or consider any sort of return, even behind closed doors. Its ridiculous league chairmen meeting in...

Easy in opposition at times of national crisis. Agree with the government where it is sensitive. Bide your time for the odd slip up and wade in. Not involved in any big decision making. No pressure, no scrutiny. Just sound good at the right time. Great time to take over.

[Football] Bundesliga 'ready to return on 9 May', says German Football League

I think we can all ' get by ' with a few games behind closed doors ( e.g finishing off this season ) but the prospect of watching the majority, if not all, of next season, in empty stadiums fills me with dread. Plus it will be the death knell for many smaller clubs.

[Football] Bundesliga 'ready to return on 9 May', says German Football League

Difficult to comprehend such an early start when its pretty obvious that large gatherings ( sport/music etc ) are not going to be allowed in the UK until sometime in 2021. I've said it before and I will repeat it...I am not going back to football until an approved vaccine has been widely...

    [Politics] Brexit

You really need to take a long hard look at yourself. In these perilous times, with services stretched, people fighting for their lives and the world facing its biggest crisis for 80 odd years, you come out with sad, petty and ignorant language like this. I hope to God that this is a wind up...

Still don't think that is viable. Finish this season behind closed doors. Thats all.

    [Albion] Season Tickets

More than some key workers get in 5 years! We all know that football exists in an economic micro bubble. It generally continues in an upward curve irrespective of world affairs. Will this threat to all our lives restore a sense of perspective? I doubt it. Are we living without football? Yes. Are...

    [Albion] Season Tickets

By all means buy an available ST but you won't be watching any football in the near future. Certainly not in 2020. Even if the football authorities are mad or greedy enough to sanction a return later this year, many will not attend matches until they have been vaccinated, so there will be plenty...

' Home ' kit is most appropriate because thats where we will all be wearing them. Sadly, they won't be seen at the Amex until well into 2021.

[Football] Capacity Reduction, should Social Distancing continue...

Well that would have to be the start of 21/22 season. Which obviously means no football next season. You can get away with a few games behind closed doors. You cannot play a whole season like that. We have to be sensible and realistic. Unless we can return to a position of previous normality...

As with the players, breathing on each other, coughing and spitting and almost constantly touching each other. How do you get round that?

[Albion] What is the best tackle you've ever seen on a football pitch?

Loved the Bobby Moore footage on this thread. Have always tried to imagine a Moore/Duncan Edwards CB partnership. Would have been awesome. Probably would have won the World Cup in 62', although Moore was only just starting then. Bobby's balance and reading of the game made him, in my book, the...

[Albion] Likely to be another year before (normal) football returns...

Fancy a bet on that? Not a prayer. I am surprised that any event, attended by thousands, in close proximity to each other, is even being rescheduled for this year ( French Open, Masters etc ) The next football season will not start on time and its debatable whether its viable at all. There is...

    [Albion] Have they no shame?

We will all be getting a shock at the next Budget ( whenever ) I reckon there will be at least 5% on all levels of income tax. ( April 21 ) There has to be. Huge holes in the Exchequer have to be filled. It can't all be borrowed. Its the only way to maintain public services at a reasonable...

[News] These £60 fines for breaching CV19 instructions

Exactly. There is an arrogance and lack of respect in certain parts of our society that has been growing over a few decades.Thrown in a lot of ignorance and there is your cocktail. A self-centred section of society, who do what they want, when they want and if you don't like it, tough luck. Life...
