Actually, they mentioned most some seats will be done by December.
I would guess that for the opening of the season we will have ESU and South East corner and "maybe" South West corner (depending, I assume, on the upper/mid tier in the SW corner.
I wonder if they will do anything with the...
I suspect they'll do whatever is most appropriate from a practical and engineering perspective, not on aesthetics (why, won't be playing until both corners and ESU are done anyway).
Stupid media (and anyone else who said it "collapsed") for not checking facts first (nothing new here I suppose!)
Imagine if one of the clads at the Amex stadium came off and the media reports "Amex stadium collapses" :D
I guess the theory is that there will be a lot less traffic at the A23 leading to Mill Road roundabout as many will be coming off at Hickstead. Maybe enough to free up the left lanes for the buses to get through.
That said, Hickstead does seem a bit far away but better than not having it. As...
Why? Is Harry going somewhere? :D
I don't think the Rednapp/England job is a done deal. Yes many want it but he FA are an entity to themselves so who knows who they employ. Probably McCarthy :D
Although I agree in this case, a longer contract means the higher transfer fee we can command to interested parties. Clubs won't bid high if a few months of a contract to go as they'll wait and go for a free transfer.
It's better 1st team players we need, we don't need to replace most the squad like some are suggesting. We're not going to sign any great players to just be squad players who just fill in. The likes of Dicker, Brezovan, sparrow etc. can step in when need be and will be far cheaper than buying...
Exactly.
I thought a penalty should be given if a player is FOULED inside the box. "contact" does not always constitute a foul.
Put it this way, Young would have been laughed off the park if he behaved like that OUTSIDE the box and the refs know it yet when inside the box they lose their...
I disagree. Probably the whole bottom half of the PL will need to have this clause in, so if player X "not buying that" declines, where will he go? They'll just have to accept it. If they are "too good" for the CS if they get relegated, they can negotiate a get-out clause so they can be sold if...
An aspect to remember is that Gus is relatively young. He doesn't need to be in a hurry to move up the footy food chain, he's possibly got another 20 or so years of management ahead of him. He can "afford" to spend 4/5 years rather than 2 years at BHA and still end up at Chelsea or whatever...
WTF do you mean "not championship standard", we're 6th in the league
I could understand this if we were 6th from bottom but we're not. I could also understand if people were saying we're not PL standard.
Some people need to get a bit of perspective.
The club don't want to have spent time and money getting a player fit only to leave on a free transfer.
This way they get him fit and, as under contract (he's not going to be on massive wages), can sell him on (assuming he can't make the 1st team)
Simple, ease off if there's a crap car behind you also doing 120mph (arguable the following car, if able to attain those speeds may well have similarly effective brakes).
Anyway, the same goes for an emergency stop at ANY speed. It's down to the following car to keep a safe distance.
Actually...
Problem is, where do you draw the line. Lets ban ALL vehicles on the road and there'll be NO road deaths. If it means 1 life saved, it's worth it no?.......
