Palace will probably play 4-3-3 like last week, apparently it was their best performance for a while with the team pressing high and being quite fluid with their attacks.
So it makes sense to flood the midfield so that we win that battle which in turn should mean more chances to attack. So I'd...
Their tails will be up after winning last week and they have a very good away record this season. I know it would be nice if they let us win our first game this year but I'm highly doubting it. Palace will win.
I think that's a big difference between us and others who went down and then struggled, the way we have been run and then depth of quality youngsters coming through means we "should" be towards the top of the Championship.
I really wouldn't be surprised to see both Lamptey and Mac Allister in the side, both appear to have had a positive affect in training and with us winless going into a game with nothing to lose, I think we might see some changes.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Lamptey sitting in front of...
You look at that and can see that we have got a good core of young players (with even better younger ones to come through such as Roberts, Jenks, Tolaj, Radulovic) and can see why Potter has been given the task to move these into the first team over the next few years. Could be a very exciting...
Results with yoof in the first team may not be too different as of yet (apart from Connolly's contribution against Spurs), however the potential we have coming through within the next couple of years should make a difference, and this is where it will be interesting to see how GP incorporates...
Would like to see him get minutes under his belt this season so that from next season (whichever division we're in) he can have a big influence for us.
That's all I'm hoping for at this stage (that and a match winning goal from outside the box against Palace!)
In early 90's away to York, lost 1-0, think their one good player scored the goal, probably only about 100 odd. Also a couple of trips to Carlisle with again maybe 100 or so fans. Lost the first one and drew the other when Slade was in charge. Got in the Argus for that game where I had my photo...
I'll play!

Game for tomorrow will be fine, Sunday down here on the coast could gust over 80mph! Trampolines etc have to be weighed down! Even inland here in Crawley I'm expecting gusts over 70. Timed for lunchtime onwards. Be careful if out and about.
Naylor saying Murray will start tomorrow. So I wonder whether we'll see him with Maupay as well? Maybe a 4-4-2?

My Dad told me about seeing a cigar shaped UFO over in Somerset way when he was a bricklayer on the new Butlins complex, so that must have been in the 60's?
I remember in the 90's seeing a white object go fast across the sky, it was partly cloudy so only got glimpses as it went from one horizon...
Yep true, he is on a steep learning curve with still areas he needs to improve if he is going to challenge. For example heading, a number of Leeds fans now recognise that he isn't very good at it and this needs working on.
Definite potential to be a top ball playing Centre Half, but he needs...
