Travesty
It’s a travesty that Madness aren’t supporting Squeeze to be honest. Suggs voice if he ever had one has long since gone. Seen Squeeze several times over the years and whereas they are still spot on, Madness are simply going through the motions.
Teacher asks a class of ten year olds ‘Why did the Crystal Palace burn down?’
Young Tom puts his hand up ‘Brighton fans Miss!’
The lad gets sent out of the room.
Absolute classic.
Great watch
In my more mature years and can relate to these guys. Good watch.
Lucky enough to have a narrow boat on the Oxford Canal and privy to some great Bream fishing.
Amongst the worst
Teddy Maybank. Not so sure he contributed much. More interested in having a good time from what I can make out.
Infamous stories around him bricking it against Larry Lioyd.
Don’t get me wrong, great start to the season, however, are we in danger of over doing it in the box when there is a clear shooting opportunity? Happened a fair bit last season and Saturday, when we went for the extra killer ball 15 yards out, despite the fact there was a clear sight on goal.
I am prepared to argue robustly. I’m not referring to Albion fans being priced out of Brighton over recent years moving West. I firmly believe that Worthing and Lancing have provided a disproportionate amount of the away support for the last 40 years.
Funnily enough
Me and the Mrs are heading off on our narrow boat for a few days. Ainsleys hot and sour are packed for the canals. Absolutely essential in the middle of January but nice with a pasty any time of year. His cous cous with a tin of tuna makes a great lunch.
When top flight players smile and make that praying action when they’ve missed a decent chance.
If I’d have done that in the Worthing and Sussex Sunday Leagues I’d have got a slap from my team mates.
No creditably for a start. Pardon my ignorance but have they played at the highest standard in the appropriate Premier League.
I might start forging a career in Netball commentary. Let’s face it not difficult!
Doesn’t really justify it for me. Shape of things to come.
Next thing they’ll be wearing motties sheepskin and Brian Moore’s ears. Isn’t there a Hugh Johns, Barry Davies or Gerald sinstadt
that could save us from this politically correctness.
As I say. Disappearing up its own backside.
