I would always support a fantastic local candidate over national politics (especially local elections), however my experience of Bottomley has been incredibly different to yours.
I’m very much against VAR mainly as I miss the emotion pre-VAR when a goal was scored but respect differing views. Im hoping that the club would support a ‘for’ or ‘against’ stance based on the opinion of fans. Galvanising supporters and taking our collective views to the decision makers at the...
Does NSC turn a profit through advertising revenue? Is there a possibility that the volume of pop ups will reduce for guests if ad revenue generated is offset via these means?
NSC reminds me of a website from 20 years with the volume of ads - appreciate the appetite to generate more and more revenue but feels the extra £ has come at the cost of use experience. It is almost unusable as a guest with adds making navigation difficult.
That said, the content remains great...
What utterly regressive tripe - genuinely shocked that there are people who operate with the level of ignorance and misogyny. Suggest doing some research as you’ll find plenty of FACTS that counter your clearly uneducated attitude that any sphere of society could be worse because of greater...
Sorry what’s your issue with this? Can you also explain your frustration given the context of your FE role?
It’s hard to identify if this is an attempt at humour or a misogynist dinosaur.
At school did they teach you to not look down on others? Many people who do these jobs are the very definition of ‘hard working’ and make a valuable contribution that we all benefit from.
I’m experience the same issue. Appreciate that NSC needs the advertising revenue but the site has become unusable at times this year - writing this message has required a battle with pop ups!
I normally agree that there’s little value in feeding the trolls but feel it’s important to call out regressive bigotry expressed by a minority on here. These individuals seem to consider the belief that we should treat people equally regardless of sexual orientation as a ‘point of view’ rather...
Take your point and agree that we need to be in a long term sustainable position (and nothing so be to the detriment of this) but football isn’t an accounting excercise for Tony or any of us who spend thousands supporting the club. 1983 was before my time but, if you’re asking me as a fan...
