Not quite right. In the absence of a European record, we should get a coefficient based on (20% of) English clubs' 5-year record. That could get us into pot 3 for Europa league, and even higher for Conference league.

From what I can see, lack of European competition does not necessarily doom you to pot 4. It appears that we may be awarded coefficient points based on the past record of English clubs in Europe. Based on the current Europa competition that may be sufficient for pot 3. I imagine the rankings...
